Went here for lunch on a Saturday. The place wasn't very busy. The views are good, and there's lot of light with the glass panes. I ordered the Angus Beef Burger with chips, which was quite good. The chips were thin and almost McDonald's like quality though.

The price range is $20-$30, which is very expensive for what you get. A friend of mine got the fish/chips and it was really small! The portions don't make the place good value for money. Only the Angus Beef Burger was really filling, and that was because of the beef pattie.

The food also took a while to come out, even though there weren't many other customers. The waiter was pleasant and had a chat with us though. Probably wouldn't come here again or recommend it, based on portion size and prices.

Food was really good here! The tenderest calamari I hae ever eaten! Pity about the noise of the buses just across the road. Service was very good. All good except for the noise!

Went there for dinner with my partner and loved everything about it! Food was definitely value for money! The pate, sensational! We also really enjoyed the pasta seafood dish! The atmosphere was really nice, great service, friendly staff! We will be back there again very soon!

We just had dinner at Glimpse using a voucher. We started with the freshest pate with beetroot dip, it was sensational. I had the pasta with prawn, chilli, oil, rocket, there were so many fresh prawns, it was a fantastic dish. My husband had the fish and chips with mashed peas and that was fantastic as well. Because we had a walk up the hill ahead of us, we thought we would go for the homemade pavlova, what a brilliant meal, at last somewhere great to eat in Watsons Bay, good food, prices and service, what's not to like about that! We can't wait to go back.

We were taken here by my in-laws who had a living social voucher. I'm afraid something has changed for the worse since the posting of the previous rave reviews of this restaurant. The garlic bread was too salty, dry and had black grill marks which added nought its aesthetic appeal.

Our tasteless spring rolls were served with a marginally tastier yogurt dip (bizarre combination which really didn't work). My prawn pasta with rocket could have been nice were it not for the burnt garlic (I mistook them for sliced olives - blackened!) and obviously unfresh prawns and wilted rocket. The whole dish took on a sort of gray look.

My husband's pizza tasted exactly as described by the previous review - frozen or reheated. My father-in-law's medium rare steak was quite overcooked. However, the wine was nice and my children were satisfied with their fish and chips with free ice cream. I fear this joint shall suffer the fate of its nearby defunct neighbors unless a proper kitchen staff is brought into the kitchen.

I really wish I could give this little place a top review but the food just wasn't great. After reading all the positive reviews we thought we would give dinner a go. The host is very friendly and accommodating and the location is good. Cost wise it's okay with mains and entrees a reasonable price.

Unfortunately, the food was just very ordinary. The Garlic bread is nice and has a rustic taste about it with grains through the bread, this I would recommend. The steak was served on mash with what was meant to be a red wine jus but it was more like a packet brown gravy. It looked unappetizing and while edible, it was just not great. The pizza was not nice either, it tasted like a frozen pizza with additional stuff on it or maybe a decent pizza that has been reheated the next day.

It probably didn't help that it sat on the pass for 10 minutes before it was brought to the table but would it have been better? Not sure. We were disappointed to say the least and it's a shame as I thought the place and the people were nice. With a limited menu they really need to get it right and for whatever reason that didn't happen. Points for personality and the location though.

Recently went here using an online deal voucher. The garlic bread was amazing and the pie and chicken were delicious as well. The only thing was that the pie didn't have a gravy like sauce it was just really watery inside. But the meat was really tender. No complaints about the chicken.

Best place in watsons bay by far! Came here on first time with my family on scoopon vouchers and did not expect the quality and service received! I have been coming back eversince. they serve simple excellent quality food and deserts! Oh my! Best pavolova I've ever had!

Excellent place for a date. They have an outdoor lounge at the front of the restaurant where I've seen a couple having a lovely day relaxing in the shade over a bottle of wine, can't wait to bring my significant other here! Thank you Anthony for bringing a fantastic restaurant to watsons bay.

Glimpse has a stunning location backed up by great food and service. It's a real favourite for breakfast, with hearty servings of eggs benedict, granola with poached pears, delicious banana bread and great coffee. You can takeaway pizzas too if you aren't in the mood for a night out. Highly recommended.

Went here on a voucher after reading previous reviews and everyone is spot on. Anthony is the most welcoming host and made us feel so at ease the whole night. The food was SO fresh and tasty. The menu is nice and simple and the wine we had was really tasty. I highly recommend this place! Go Check It Out! You will not be disappointed.
