I have been going to Naggy's since it opened. I used to be a regular elsewhere but once I tried Naggy's it became my regular cafe for coffee, breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, or a place to while away the afternoon playing chess with friends, coffee and cake. Naggy's has filled a niche in Glebe, the menu is much more diverse than nearby cafes, the food always cooked and presented extremely well, the coffee is excellent and the water is always cold.

I love going to Naggy's because the service is very friendly and efficient. The regular wait staff always go out of their way to ensure you have got everything you need.

Recently started going there for breakfast and will be going there more often.
The staff are friendly and the food is good. I had the pancakes and they were really good. The cafe is on the small side but thats not too much of an issue.
So good food and good coffee.

Delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner menus backed up by one of the best local coffees... Authentic Italian cuisine and a neat little bar make Teru a treat. Now has live music in the evenings from Wednesday to Saturday and on Sunday arvos.

Today I had a simple, tasty egg and bacon ciabatta with sauce and mayo, but recently tried both the "Teru" and "Mediterranean" Breakfasts finding them great value with hefty serves and interesting combinations including chorizo, grilled eggplant, roasted capsicum, sausages, chicken breast and cannellini beans. Nothing boring about them.

Pancakes are a Teru specialty as well with yummy styles of poached pear and nutella, fruit and honey or cinnamon double cream with caramelised ginger. Decadent!

Inside and outside dining provides the ambience for any diner and a student discount even applies Mon-Fri. Recommended.

Been trying to get in here for as while without a booking so finally booked. It was great tho one let down was the Sangria I have had better even across the road at Spanish Tapas but overall great. I did make the mistake of going for the top shelf hot sauce...never again.

I've only had the almond croissants and almond choc twists so far and they're the only reason I keep going back.

My value rating dropped because of $20 BYO charge. I like it because it's very local and has a great pate entree.

A good deal with BYO and Entertainment Card. Unusual surroundings for an Indian and can be a bit quiet, it's a huge cavernous place. Typical Indian menu and servings.

A very lovely restaurant I have to say, first of which is the outdoor dining area. My Gal and I had the Friday night dinner, not extremely overloaded but for 8.15pm, pretty reasonable.

The antipasto entree for 2 is massive, almost like 2 mains, could have stopped right there if we weren't a bit hungry.

Then the ribeye steak was a tad overdone for a medium, but it was very succulent nonetheless. The Salmon was reasonable, with that crispiness in the skin, pretty well right, so much vegetables though, and along with the antipasto, was a bit of an overload. The glass by the wine seems a bit small, perhaps, due to the glass it's served in.

Overall, quite nice but definitely big servings that tip it closer to quantity than quality, but a quality experience all the same.

We went on a Saturday night, a group of four, and lucky to get a seat as we had not booked, the place was packed! We did not go the set menu as thought 2 tapas each and bread was enough for us, and got drinks. It worked out better value for us that way, though it was really expensive overall compared to other tapas we've had and other choices in the newtown/glebe area.

They did shortchange us one tapas as well (we ordered, they billed, but missed our lamb skewers), so would recommend counting your tapas as you go! Sangria was tasty, and the Spanish entertainment was fun. Great vibe. Don't forget you can use entertainment book cards here for 25% off bill up to $30.

Best Coffee in Sydney!

Visit this place at least once a week for breakfast, so can't comment on the tapas. It's usually a late breakfast, they are always accommodating and will serve toast even at 3pm!

The baristas are all superb, and are the only ones I've found in Sydney that give Melbourne baristas a run for their money!

Love the atmosphere its very laid back, could sit out In the courtyard all day.

Pretty good food! been here twice, grant the first time was better than the second time. Pretty close to real deal mexican food though it has been Westernized a bit. Only downfall = service is Shocking. Waiters literally ignore you. So rude. Would only ever go back for the food and if I was in a good mood to tolerate bad staff.

I've been 3 times now so I think I can make an informed opinion. I found the place consistently good.

The food is great and reasonably well priced. Owen the MD actually knows how to run a restaurant all delivers excellent service. My advise? Give it a go. You'll probably get a surprise.

We wanted to try Czech food for the first time but came away disappointed which wasn't a good thing! The rib eye with bread dumplings special was just two slices of the beef which were tender but nothing special, and the so-called dumplings were just slices of (boiled?) bread in a nice but average sauce. The pork belly with cracking, sauerkraut and mash was tasty and well presented.

The place was quite busy with couples basically having to sit side by side on the bar tables, however, another couple were nice enough to share their table with us which allowed us to avoid a lengthy wait. All in all, probably just come here for the European beer.

Edit: As the tv ad says, it's great if nothing goes wrong with the service.
After our first great experience at Na Zdrowie, we decided to go again and made a booking which we were on time for. We ordered an entree of pierogi, and 5 minutes later, gave our order for mains to another waitress to whom we clearly told we had already ordered our entrees.

35 minutes later, we realised that the table next to us (who had arrived and ordered after us) had gotten their food and finished eating. We called a waitress over who after some discussion with the management, came over and basically stood there refusing to tell us that they had lost our order, we had to basically spell it out for her ourselves.

By this time, we were starving. We re-ordered our mains and 5 minutes later, had to re-order Again after being told one of the mains had run out and was no longer available. No need to say that we were seriously annoyed by this stage. Another 15 minutes later, we finally got our food. In between this, they chose to serve a table of 18 people, given our situation, management should have stood up and given our table higher priority.

Our problem is not that a mistake was made, but that several opportunities to rectify this was not taken up. Our table was right in front of the counter and the management, who should have noticed that something was wrong. The waitresses should also have taken care of their customers and put two and two together. The lack of apology or refusal to acknowledge the mistake or make up for it spoiled our evening and our decision to come to this restaurant again.

Our first time at trying Polish food wasn't bad. We chose this place probably being the most well known Polish restaurant in Sydney and it showed us enough to want to come back.

The atmosphere was great, lots of people but not too loud for conversation. The service was friendly and attentive. I was hoping for a more extensive soup range, having once tried a delicious onion and garlic soup but had to choose from a choice of only three. The potato and Polish sausage soup was tasty but the dill and cucumber soup was uninspiring.

For mains, the baked meat and rice in cabbage with potato in tomato sauce was absolutely delicious with the combination just right, while the meat and sauerkraut stew with potato was nice but not quite as special as expected. Portions were okay with the value for the soup probably not the best. We're looking forward to what they can show us next time.

We planned to go to Atelier for months and we chose to have a family dinner on Saturday the 12/5/2012. We booked a table for 8pm, got there 7.50pm, impressed with the settings and the politeness of the waiters. Wine list was on the table, after we ordered the wine, we waited a long 25 minutes to get to see the menu.

Once we ordered, we had no idea that we had to wait at least one hour (9.20pm) before entree was served. By then, we felt disappointed and my husband made a comment to the waiter and told him that he hoped we wouldn't have to wait an hour for the main course. Unfortunateley, we had to wait another 45 minutes at least for the main to be served.

By that time we were very tired. Although the food was superb, we had no idea we had to wait so long to be served. The waiters were very apologetic. I want to point out that at the time I made the booking I couldn't get a 7pm or 7.30pm one because the kitchen needed time to prepare for the early sittings.

We believe that we should have been made aware when we ordered from the menu that the kitchen was running behind at least one hour. You should definitely improve on the timing, should you want people to come back to your restaurant. Although we were not charged for the desserts it didn't compensate for the wait. We regret but definitely won't be back.

If is no wonder that this restaurant is very busy all the time. They serve great food that is perfectly cooked and the meat is always very tender. We had the combination for the main course, duck, chicken and pork belly. All were the tenderest meat we had ever had.

Servings were large so you don't go hungry. They sure know how to cook in the kitchen. The restaurant is extremely noisy and our drink order was forgotten but otherwise it was the great food that made the night memorable. We will be back.

First time at Atelier this week and I must admit, I had not heard of it before!

This is a gem of a restaurant and I would def recommend coming during the week to take advantage of the $70 3 course special, very much worth the $. However, the room is a little quiet and empty with only 3-4 tables...we felt a bit like we had to whisper! I am sure it has better ambience when busier.

Our waiter was excellent, he timed everything out well and although he was working alone, made sure he came by every few minutes to top up wine and water. He was chatty but not overly so, very good service.

Now the food, for me it was a little hit or miss. I had the marron starter which came with 'rice puffs' and pink grapefruit. The puffs were not light and crispy but rather gritty giving the watrercress that came with it an unwashed type of feel, like there was grit in my mouth. The marron was a little tough and had a very gamey taste (which I think is just marron, I've not had it many times).

Very well presented and you can tell this kitchen cares and loves their food through the presentation. My partner had the abalone starter and I was jealous as it was excellent, very delicate and well balanced.

My main was beef shoulder with sirloin and carrot puree. I felt the meat was lovingly prepared but there was a lack of flavour and seasoning. The plates came out very hot so a lot of the sauce had dried to the plate and the carrot puree, though delicious, was only a small splodge. The okra was perfect and it is nice to see this little used vegetable on an Australian menu. My partner Again gave me food envy with his duck that was perfectly prepared and seasoned. We both felt more sauce would have been good.

The lack of other side dishes apart from salad (esp in winter months) is very disappointing. Some lovely market fresh veges or some sort of elegant potato or grain dish? The salad we had was promised to be delicious but was really 'meh', leaving me to feel like it was a passionate upsell from the waiter rather than a real recommendation.

Deseerts were flawless, again I had envy of my partner's delicious and soft strawberry souffle with basil milkshake, it was truly divine. My brulee was excellent too very deep caramel flavour with a lovely crisp top but the batons of rhubarb were stringy, tangy and undercooked so I left them.

I would highly recommend this restaurant as the chefs and waiters obviously care about the food and service which is a rarity in the area.

I hadn't been to Atelier for more than a year but went last night for my husband's birthday. It was fantastic! I think my entree was the best entree I've had in my life. Set on nasturtium leaves were melt in your mouth pork, enoki mushrooms, asparagus and abalone. The waitress told me to pick it up and eat together. It was perfection.

My duck main meal was great but it would have been nice to have ordered a side plate of vegetables since it was very meat oriented. You could have ordered salad, but I didn't feel like that. My duck was perfectly cooked. And the chocolate dessert, delicious, although next time I think I might have the fantastic souffle my husband had.

Service was excellent. Offered to decant our red wine before we asked. Always made sure our glasses were topped up and we had water. Quick to produce the bill when we wanted to leave. Really good value for what you get. And lovely to be in a restaurant that wasn't noisy. Can't wait to return. I'm so glad to have such an excellent restaurant in my neighbourhood.

Went there last week with some friends who received a flyer inviting them to try the new menu, and we all had a lovely time. The host was very welcoming and the food was very nice. And although there were only a handful of tables the courtyard was a lovely setting.

We shared zucchini flowers and home made ocean trout and the chefs focaccia was delicious. For mains my Salmon was cooked perfectly and hubby's steak with an oregano sauce made him very happy (thank god). The tiramisu was great. A little bit on the expensive side but overall a very nice dinner. Would certainly return.
