The service is generally friendly and efficient, but be aware of busy periods, especially Friday, when the staff are run off their feet. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. Not the place of choice for a romantic dinner, but you can't beat it for a night out with friends or family. The Singapore chilli crab is good but a little to spicy for me.

Had the singapore chilli crabs which was fantastic. Their hai nam chicken was also great. Although a little on the pricey end.

Been here several times. Food was really good, portion pretty small, services was Okay, food abit slow though place a bit too over crowded. Seems like they try to squeeze too many tables in. Food wise, I will give two thumbs up for the chicken rice and ngo hiang. Curry dishes was pretty good. Also would like to suggest the ice lemon tea as drinks, it more sour than the normal ice tea (in a good way) probably they uses 'asam' in it.

Read the reviews, thought I give it a try. Had the Ngo Hiong, which was tasty but the serving was small and over priced, expected more for $16. The sambal fish, was average at most. Kecap manis squid was good, a must try when you go. Hainanese chicken was boneless, soft and juicy, but I expected a bigger portion than the half chicken we ordered.
The singapore chilli prawn was okay, the belachan kangkung was probably the highlight of our meal, would have liked a little more chilli in it. On the overall, overpriced, but probably one of the better restaurants claiming to serve singapore food.

Great food and service. A bit expensive but happy to pay as every dish was delicious. Recommend the lemon ice-tea.

I came here many times already! Food was always nice and service is a bit slow sometimes. But overall, I really enjoy to come here for a sat night dinner!

In terms of food, this is one of the best Malaysian/Singaporean restaurants I've been to. Went with another Singaporean and we both agreed its pretty authentic.
Oyster omelette tasted just like the omelette in Malacca. Chicken rice and char kway teow were also very good. We also had otak otak on the night as a special - this was awesome. Desserts (we ordered gula melaka, chendol and ice kachang) were as good as in Malaysia.
Prices are a little steep, but what do you expect in neutral bay and you are not eating by a drain in 35 degree heat! Service was fine, but we arrived 6 pm on a weeknight. The restaurant filled up quickly, and there was only 1 person on the floor, but she managed our orders competently.

We ordered two mains - the first came within 5 minutes of ordering. The second came about 30 minutes later by which time we had finished all the rice and the 1st main so were a bit full. But the waiter was very apologetic and friendly. It's a small restaurant and full on a friday night. Food was tasty but the two mains tasted very similar. Will go here again to try different food and will ask for the mains to be brought out together next time!

HIgh quality food prepared with an interesting twist. There are so many Asian restaurants which taste the same but this one is unique. The Nasi Goreng is exceptional. Can be a bit cramped on weekends so do not go looking for a romantic night out.
