This is average Vietnamese food at best. I've given this restaurant 4 chances on different occasion to try different dishes and it failed miserably. The Bun Bo Hue is oily and lacking flavour.

The grilled chicken was grilled, but most likely a few hours a go if not yesterday and seems to be reheated and was dry. Pork chop was bland and dry and seem to have been reheated in a microwave as it did not had a grill look or even deep fried look just soggy and with too much lemon grass.

Pho was average, was lacking that Pho broth smell. You can always tell a good Pho from an average by its smell and this was lacking. Decore is cleaner than most Viet establishment but orange and purple? Only tick I can give was the value but paying that price for mediocre food, never again!

How orange can this place be, but I guess this is the place where all the locals go to. The pho broth was tasty but still not the best. Still good value for money if u are up for a quick pho fix. Will try some other dishes here next time.

I rate this restaurant as the best Vietnamese restaurant in Bankstown, it is clean, friendly and most importantly the food is fabulous. There is a precision and neatness to the food of Via Hoi in comparison to some of the other restaurants around, the rice rolls both fresh and fried are standouts. The quail is delicious, if a little dry and as the previous reviewer mentioned the grilled dishes are plentiful and tasty. And as for the price... $30 for two including drinks gets you a table full of dishes. Can you ask for more?

This is a small Vietnamese restaurant that serves very good grilled dishes, especially the grilled chicken with tomato rice. The portion is huge and could share with a partner/kid. They don't mind if you ask for a spare bowl/dish to share, unlike other restaurant that charge extra for empty bowl, yes, I'm talking about Pho An.

Their other soup based dishes version also very nice. Finish off with one of their fruit smoothies (sour sop, avocado, coconut, durian, etc). Don't expect any nice decor on the wall, but service always quick and with a smile.
