Great icecream, great ambience, great service, great value - what more can I say. Gelatomassi is our favourite place for dessert after dinner or anytime. Yummy.
Really nice icecream, 1 scoop for 3.50. Smiley, friendly staff who give you a hello and a goodbye. I got the Belgian chocolate, nice, thick and creamy. Sister got the vanilla bean (a lemon sorbet fan usually) and was not too sweet for her sorbet tooth, brother got the lemon sorbet. YUM!
Disclosure statement. Given the quantity of Gelatomassi gelato I have consumed over the years, I probably have shares in the business! Cicc and Sal show us all how hospitality should be done. (Sydney waiters take note... you can smile and be friendly... you may even enjoy it.)
It starts with the gelato. Superb... and "freshly frozen" has taken on new meaning. Freshly made means smooth and creamy, not icy (thanks for the education boys.) Second, service with a smile and a bit of pizzazz. Customer recognition is appreciated and a bit of a laugh to accompany your gelato is guaranteed.
No it may not be as good as in Italy, but in the opinion of 2 travelers who were in Rome less than a year ago, Gelatomassi does a great job. We will recommend it to friends who visit Sydney in the future. Their hazelnut, roasted almond, and cinnamon flavours are divine!
Really people - try going to Italy, anywhere in Italy, and then come back and say this place is great. It won't happen.
The selection is, once again, what they think is wanted and not what they could offer with something new and exciting. It never fails to disappoint me and I have stopped bothering to try anything in there. In Italy it becomes impossible to say no --- here, ho hum, move on, get it from the supermarket if you must.
What a delight it is to visit Gelatomassi! We had a foul meal up the road, and to come to this fabulous place was a breath of fresh air. Sal behind the counter was lots of fun and the coffee and gelato was delicious. Love It!
I love the gelato, the cannoli, the affogato, I even got a birthday cake from Gelatomassi last year and it was fantastic, if you haven't looked at all the gelato cake options you should! Sal and Ciccio are real stars, they make it such a happy place to visit. And they make damn good coffees!!
