Went there for lunch on Saturday and was quite impressed, the place was 75% full which is a good sign, we ordered 5 mains to share: highly recommend the Turkish Melt with Bacon and cheese Avocado and the Spanish Ravioli, the Sirloin Steak and Crab Meat Salad were above average, just needed some punchy dressing, the Pumpking Pasta was average lacking flavour.
Ambience: spacious, clean and tidy. Corner block with lots of natural light.
Service: not enough waiters! food wasn't slow to come out though, taking the order was!
Value: Great value for money with specials from $10 and plenty of mains under $15.

One critical point was that the entrees were too large. Combined with a similarly large main meant a veeery full stomach by the middle of the main. Another was the state of the beef. Went with a few friends and most ordered medium rare. What we got in return was well done. It was the chewiest beef ever. Pricing was above average. Overall, wouldn't go back.

Very disappointing. The main meals were way overpriced, e.g. $26.80 for a seafood platter (as per review below), not tempura-very oily. Same price for lamb shanks which were tasteless. We sat outside and felt neglected as the place wasn't full, as there were staff standing around we would have expected someone to ask if everything was ok etc. but they only came to our table when they needed to. Unfortunately, this was like a food court experience at double the price, we won't be returning.

I really don't know what's with all these bad reviews. I took my parents there last week and the food was delicious! They both had the wagyu steak set meal for $36. The oysters, chargrilled wagyu steak, creme brulee and coffee were unfaultable.
The twice roasted duck breast which I had was, perhaps, a little dry, but otherwise lovely. The dessert, chocolate mudcake with hot chocolate sauce, was absolutely to-die-for. Incredibly moist and hot, it went perfectly with the icecream it was served with.
Service was very pleasant, the two female waiters were very attentive and friendly. Furnishings modern and appealing. Only criticism I have would be the location, in the middle of a busy intersection and surrounded by fast food shops really isn't the nicest atmosphere.
Overall, a very pleasant experience and left feeling extremely full, will definitely be back!

Don't know what has happened to this place. It used to be reasonable but has gone seriously downhill, I suspect a change of ownership and staff. The seafood platter had heavy, greasy batter (supposed to be 'tempura', should have known better than to fall for that one) and the 'sweet potatoes chips' were just slices of kumara in the same horrible batter.
This place isn't what you'd classify as cheap so this is pretty poor value. When you leave half the food on the plate I would expect the waiter in a decent place to ask if there was a problem, but not here. We won't be back.

I went there last night and even though I was very full, I wasn't impressed. I ended up feeling ill for the remainder of the night. I ordered a set menu, crabmeat and avocado salad, porkchop with grilled prawns and chocolate souffle. When my salad came, there was a springroll on my plate with spiced chicken and smoked salmon. Crabmeat and avocado were no where to be seen.
The main were huge and tasted ok but it was something that I could have done at home and I'm no masterchef. The chocolate souffle, well it was more like a meringue and I couldn't taste the chocolate apart from the chocolate chips they had sprinkled on top.
Overall, it was ok, but wouldn't go there again. Sorry Fusion Cafe.

Service abysmal. Had to ask three waitpersons to direct us to our reserved table. Seated at 730 pm, orders taken at 820 pm, did not leave till nearly 11 pm. The cafe feels like being in a glass walled canteen with laminated floors overlooking a busy intersection.
There is a three course meal deal for the cost of the main meal, though the entree (pumpkin soup) and the dessert (peach creme brulee) was tiny. I tried the $12 half lobster mornay when-you-order-a-main-course deal. Lobster flesh too dry. Only redeeming feature was the main course of the slow-cooked lamb shanks.
The fusion element is confusion. When the staff bring in fast food pizza from the joint across the road to eat as their staff dinner, then you wonder about the food being served at this cafe.

Very disappointed, false advertising, Blackboard outside said half lobster mornay $12. I asked how much for a whole lobster mornay the waitress said $24. I asked for the whole lobster, only to be told that the card on the table said "half lobster mornay with main meal" shouldn't have bothered the lobster, what there was of it was disgusting. We have visited here at least 8 times, and they have never had bernaise sauce, waitress has trouble with english, and was rude, so we, unfortunately, won't be going back to Fushion Marsfield.

My party of five arrived after a graduation function. The service was friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was very good, with good serving sizes. We experienced value for money. Overall a very pleasant surprise.
