8 girls from Melbourne had a fab time. Owners and staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful. The food is wonderful. We had the best time. Thank you so much for putting us up for the 2 nights! from "The girls from Melbourne with the BUS"!

Its a pub, with food upstairs. Don't get excited. I've been here for steak about half a dozen times. I've had to send the steaks back almost every time, as they weren't cooked as ordered. I didn't get too excited. Its a pub. With Food. Nice views too.

Impressive! Took a chance on this little pub. It's tucked in off the main road. Great food and excellent value. Friendly, timely service like you used to get. More low-key than near-by Tilbury (which is now disappointing). Probably not the place for a first date, but a really lovely local to be savoured. Smoking area downstairs. Smoke-free balcony upstairs, everyone's happy!

Love this place. Have been a couple of times, once before they jazzed up the menu and once after. Both times were great but the new menu is awesome.

Food is excellent value and the portions seem to get bigger each time we go.
Drinks are cheap, staff are cheerful and the place reminds me of going to the mess as a kid.

The $10 specials on the bar menu were huge and very tasty. The restaurant upstairs looks very inviting too. Often seems to be filled with Navy boys from the nearby base, but that makes it very entertaining. Great place for a casual Friday lunch escape from the CBD.

The sign outside advertised as having English Ale on tap, but doesn't have English ale on tap or in a bottle. The review said it has a great view of the Harbour from the balcony. Frankly it doesn't. We ordered our food without tomato, it arrived with tomato. A poor overpriced Sydney tourist trap.

Great pub food, good quality, great portion size and very good value. We ate from the pub menu, but the restaurant menu looked great too and the views from the balcony are superb. Looks like a fun and friendly place and has nice charm, if a little battered. Will go back. Only suggestion is that the pub menus are a bit tatty and make it look like a run-down place, we nearly didn't go in because of it, but would recommend.

Great spot especially on balcony on sunny day, good food, good value, I've been here a few times over the recent 3 years and is always enjoyable. I will go back.

Sitting out on the balcony looking at Sydney harbour bridge doesn't get much better than that. The range of food on the menu was great catering for everyone tastes even had kids menu too. Food was presented well and tasted even better. Service was nice and friendly wouldn't hesitate to go back again. Cheers.
