The wait staff here were untidy and prefer to watch tv than to look over their customers. It makes you question how clean their food is. I had to ask for the soup when every other table was served it. The food itself was normal, had better in the other chinese restaurants. The waiter who served my table didn't even have his shirt tucked in, and was chucking things on our table!

Will not be back again! A group of us were there a few nights ago and we were shocked of their service and approach to dealing with dissatisfied customers!! We were there almost 45min before the soup was served and then they tell us that most of the food we wanted to order was not available. We waited over an hour an a half for all the food to arrive and it was the most disgusting meal I have been served at any of the restuarant in Berverly Hills. We ordered Mud Crab 2kg worth and it was the last dish served that night (plus we were not served with any crackers or wash bowls)- we had no choice but to order other meals with that dish and they were nothing to rave about. Along with that the rice served to our table smelled weird. Then dessert finally arrived after that which no one came to clear our table but rather the dishes were stacked on top of each other and the tray of 10 bowls of dessert was wedged in on the table spilling over cups of tea's. As disgusted as we were, we spoke to the manager and she demanded that we pay the full bill!!! No remorse and no shame at the level of service that she and her staff has provided to us. I have been to this restaurant for many years and usually pretty satisfied, but this time it has stepped over the line and it will be the last time I visit it.

If it's fresh, honest Cantonese food with polite, efficient service you are after, this place is not it. Being Cantonese, I honestly feel this place is an embarrassment to Chinese society in Australia. Food is disappointing and service is disappointing. We ordered fresh mud crab but it tasted and smelt like it had been dead for days. They fetch it from the tank and show you but who knows what you really get. We made them taste it themselves and even though you could tell they knew something was wrong, they wouldn't admit it.
After much debate they agreed not to charge us for the crab but then when the bill came, we found we had copped a $32.00 charge for the rice for a table of 12 adults + a 3 year old. The fact was, only half of us had the rice. No need to argue, write a review on Eatability instead! Save yourself the agony and your hard-earned money. If you're in the area, try somewhere else in Hurstville instead, impressive food and service!

I have been here 3 times now and, unfortunately, its 3 strikes and you're out. Why is service so poor, and the food is very average. It feels like you are sitting in a yum cha, nothing special and quite expensive I know what I ordered but when I got the bill I could not understand it. So the guy took my credit card and took off for 15 minutes who knows what the hell is going on there.

We have given this place many chances yet it has still not improved. Food is very bland. Service isn't that great, the waiters watch TV instead, taking us forever to get their attention.

Had dinner here lastnight in a group of 11 people. The food was ok, nothing to rave about. There wasn't a long wait for service and the food was presented in a timely and efficient manner. Typical Cantonese style of service! Couldn't fault it other than they don't allow beer to be consumed on-site, only wine is allowed byo.
We had mud crabs with vermicelli, steamed chicken, braised king prawns, salt n pepper squid, pork ribs with peking sauce, sizzling steak, braised squid with snow peas, and a tofu dish. All were quite nice and served hot as one would expect.
I'll be interested in trying other venues in this location as it's very handy to the M5.

The service was very bad! Against all my friend's advice, I decided to give it a go, but I was very disappointed. I cannot get over how poor the service was. The waiters were rude and arrogant. The restaurant smelt funny, and the floor near where I was sitting was wet. The food? Well, by the time the food arrive at my table, it was cold, so I think there's enough said about the food.

Two words to describe this place "Bad Service!" The waiters have no idea what customer service is all about. When I ask for waiters it takes them ages to get to me. When ordering food which they ran out from the menu and I'm trying to pick for a second choice, the waiter just simply walks away and you have to call them back again.
To be honest I never quite liked that place but was willing to give them second chances.
This time they have done it. It will be the last time I ever set my foot into that restaurant. My friends and I have been charged public holiday surcharges when its not even a public holiday!! and when we query them about the charge they rudely reply this our policy and all customers must accept it once you set your foot there then walked away. After paying the bill, I asked for a detailed invoice for what I was charged with, and all they provided was a 'hand written' total sum of my bill $ (with no invoice details at all).
Hence my advice for those who's thinking about going to this place is to read all fine lines before go in there. Check against each item on the detailed invoice they provided before paying you bill, because you will not be able to see/take that invoice with you after you've paid.
I do not recommend this place.

We went here for a family dinner for 6 people for my bday. I had read previously about the waiting times on eatability. I can concur with those comments. We waited almost 1.5 hrs for most of our food to arrive. We had to keep badgering them to bring our food. They even mixed up our order and forgot our last dish.
What really irked me about this place is the cleanliness. We booked a table and were given a table near the doorway, and the wind blows dust in. Some of our plates, bowls, cups were dirty. If you wiped it with a tissue, it would be covered in dust.
However, its one redeeming quality is that the food is actually quite good. To top it off, they overcharged us with two beers, and our table didn't drink any alcohol! Clearly they had the orders mixed up. If you must go, you should specifically ask to not sit near the doorway. I would definitely not go again.

Really disappointing place, ordered 2 dishes which were $18.80 each and the portion was so small! i.e. this place is a rip off. Not to mention the bad service, they forgot our teapot and were pretty disorganised. The only good thing was their dessert which was very nice coconut sago but I wouldn't spend $45 (total bill) for a bowl of coconut sago so I would not go back again.
