Simple Italian place that fills you up but doesn't offer anything in the way of refinement. Schnizels are large and you get 2 on plate along with some potato and veg for $18. I ordered a lasagne and although it had a lot of layers, there was not much meat of sauce between them. Still it prepared the stomach for the beer that was to accompany the crab racing, so it did its job.
Looks to be a place where locals who can't be bothered to cook come and like all Italian places it's child friendly.
I love consistancy! The food is the same every time. Basic Italian food like parmigana and pasta. If you can make it on a Wednesday, go for food and then the crab racing. We had a great night - just don't wear white.
I have been eating here since I was a child, 17 years later they haven't changed, the smell just floods back the memories! I love it. Chicken schnitzel and spaghetti bol are my personal favouites!
This pub has an awesome atmosphere. It's laid back and escapes the excessive trendiness of a lot of bars close to the city. The staff are awesomely friendly, definitely somewhere you could make a regular hang out.
Great pasta! Simple and so yummy! You can tell pasta is their speciality when you see the kitchen. Probably one of the best places to eat pasta around the area. I have yet to find a better one.
Awesome fun at the Crab Racing bring your sense of humour though. I got saturated all the boys could see everything, had an awesome night. Will definitely be back again.
