Have just enjoyed another great dinner here. The bruschetta is flavoursome, the salt and pepper calamari is so tender and tasty and my husband enjoyed the Tassie Atlantic salmon and me the marinated char grilled chicken and risotto was brilliant. The service is exceptional, attentive without being too intrusive. Our young German waitress was so lovely. I just love this restaurant.

Great food, and very good service! Only problem we were sat near the toilet, yucky table, but didn't help that the door kept being left opened. Maybe they should put it on a spring!!

After a few attempts we managed to secure a booking here, they are very popular and we now know why. The food is very well prepared, tasty and the serving sizes match the prices well.
The services was prompt and efficient and despite there being a few large settings on the Saturday we were there, the stream of food coming out of the kitchen was constant.
Will be booking a return visit to try the 8 course offering as this presents a wide range of their menu to sample and looked very nice as this was carried past.
The desserts are worth leaving room for, home made and a nice way to round out the experience

In complete contrast to the previous review (too which I am shocked and find very hard to believe) we have dined there over 5 times in the past 3 months and at every occasion have found this restaurant to really deliver. What can I say the food is always excellent and the service is definitely a notch above anything else in the area.
Staff are always very friendly & attentive, nice to be served by some people with personality!!!! and the chefs in the kitchen always make an effort to say hello!! Being locals I really feel this restaurant has definitely got something going on that no one else does in the area!!! I think it may even be the best Italian my husband and I have ever had (Go the veal rigatoni, it's amazing!! and the lemon tart if you can fit it in OMG!!!).
If you are looking for a great experience and some damn good food then this restaurant is the place for you! It's even worth the trip if you aren't from the Shire! We'll definitely be back!

Shocker! I went there on a Sunday night for an early dinner. 60 minutes later still no entree? I should have entree in about 20 minutes. Food was basic, lots of sauce American suburban Italian. After the mains arrived, after asking their whereabouts, no wait staff to be scene - no topping up of wine, no replenishing water, no offer of dessert menu or coffees. To top it off its not cheap! Never again.

Came here last week, just the wife and I, cost us $100.00 with drinks. But worth it as the food is as the review say, it's great. Service is pleasant too. Had Prawns and pasta for entree and the mushroom cap, mains chicken beetroot pizza and veal something, I can't remember the name sorry, but it was good.
Will be back in the near future. For an Italian based restaurant it is better than some at Norton St.

The food was good, though not traditional Italian as I know it (garlic prawns came with pasta and a creamy sauce). Service was ordinary till we tipped, and it wasn't a busy night. Dessert was amazing.

I have dined here multiple times with my husband, my parents, my friends and my colleagues. Each time fantastic. Great service, very attentive and helpful. Beautiful food (the prawns are to die for!). The banquet is fantastic value for money, especially in a very large group. Just terrific!

I recently had dinner at Fratelli resteraunt with a group of friends and was very impressed. The food and service were outstanding. We had the set menu which is excellent value for money and as much as we enjoyed the food we couldn't fit in the last 2 courses! The staff are fantastic and I will definitely be back to try other dishes from the menu.

We arrived at this restaurant unexpectedly on a cold night and were immediately welcomed by the warm atmosphere and friendly staff including the chef who spoke to us a number of times during the evening.
The range and quality of items on the menu were well above average and we left extremely satisfied with the meals we had. The buffalo mozarella was a perfect touch with the veal and the gelato refreshing.
Highly recommended - easily one of the best restaurants in the Cronulla / Shire area.
