When I think of Fratelli Paradiso, the first 2 things I think of are fresh food and the lovely wait staff. It is lovely to see a restaurant change its menu frequently. It is also refreshing to have your wait staff talk through every dish on offer in the evening, making you believe they have a genuine knowledge and interest in what they are selling. Every time I have been, we have been seated in the bakery area as we have been over 8 pax. Would definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone!

This is one of my favourite regular places in Sydney. The staff are helpful and friendly, always eager to explain the menu (for the non-Italian speakers!) I love the desserts and the semi freddo is to die for!

Went for a quick coffee and bite to eat late on a Sunday afternoon. The young woman dealing with the bakery items was nice to a fault, while the all-male floor staff were cold and somewhat prissy. They were very obviously disappointed that the four of us were simply after coffee and cake and that we would forgo the repeatedly proffered mineral water and alcohol. That said, my roasted vegetable pizzetta was lovely and it had been warmed in an oven to keep the base crispy. Some good coffee washed down two superb pastries: a mini dark chocolate eclair and an intensely Marsala-flavoured zabaglione profiterole - yum!

I personally don't get it with these negative reviews. The only reason I look on this site is because I have a restaurant. God bless people who enjoy a night out! I have been to this restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner religiously over the past 5 years and have never had a bad meal or service! Go figure!

Very disappointing dining experience. It took forever to get served by the surly staff, and even when we did they forgot half our order. Food was tiny and very average. Will not be returning.

The food is amazing always serviced to perfection. Breakfast is excellent and the risotti and calamari are to die for. I would love to know who the chef is and get him to run a cafe for me.. Excellent

Enjoyed an afternoon eating lovely food and people watching. Had a beautiful octopus dish done cappacio style. Porcini risotto was very rich. The pick of the dishes was the pasta with a rich pork ragu. Wine list is fun with lots of fine wines by the glass.

Service is very touchy ferly.

The service at this place is absolutely terrible. The non-smiling, ebenezeer-esque sneering waiter became increasingly more miserable as we turned down his ever more forceful suggestions to order items which we did not want. He did not seem willing to accept that we did not want a second bottle of wine, starters and side dishes (we'd only come in for a quick lunch). He acted like an annoying street seller in Bali hassling customers to buy an extra glass of wine, but without the charm or the manners. The waiters should work on their attitude and develop a sense of perspective. Food average. All in all a terrible experience.
