My wife and I went here as part of a group of 8 and this turned out to be a lot better than I was expecting. The waiter (french I think) was well informed, attentive, and had tasted most of the wines on the well chosen list. We were impressed with the great barossan shiraz he recommended.

The style is 50's urban retro and it kind of works (although it looks like they run out of money and weren't able to plaster the walls).

I had the loin pork with black pudding, with a parsnip puree and it was superb. Succulent and not too fatty. My wife had braised beef tagliatelle and she loved it despite having a smidgen of food envy I think (regular occurrence). We'll be back.

Love love love Frankie's number! Industrial feel to restaurant with a cool 60's vibe. Had the pate de foie gras with apple jelly for my starter and it was divine. Their lychee martinis are superb. Thank you for bringing such a wonderful place to Manly.

Fantastic bar restaurant in Manly. 50's/60's decor with a modern twist and very cosy. Their alcoholic ginger beer is amazing. The food is also a very high quality and the service is to match.
