Four Elements was lacking any real elements last night! The only saving grace were the Goats Cheese Tartlets and the Garlic Prawns. The service was slow and unattentive. And I could cook better mains myself! (And I ain't no gourmet chef). Very disappointing. And expensive. And we were not the only disgruntled customers. Not sure why the service was so slow or why drinks took forever to turn up. Anyrate, won't be going again!

Just came back from dinner there and it was quite bad. Had to remind waitress to get our wine after 20 minutes (and the place was basically empty so it's not like they were busy). Steak was ordered medium and came out well done. Asked for a refill of water so waitress filled just my glass and walked off without filling my friend's empty glass. Apple crumble dessert was inedibly bad. Trying to pay was a drama. There were other things but the whole experience was laughably bad.

Near perfect dining experience. Got generous sized servings even though this is fine dining restaurant. Food cooked to perfection. Price very reasonable, almost a steal considering the location. You could tell the quality of the ingredients was the best.

Interior layout was interesting, certainly gave something to chat about during the quiet moments. A minor quibble is the Sichaun styled dish certainly wasn't hot or spicy. Having said that, how many places in Sydney do real sichuan? Only the specialty places. Highly recommened.
