A very lovely restaurant I have to say, first of which is the outdoor dining area. My Gal and I had the Friday night dinner, not extremely overloaded but for 8.15pm, pretty reasonable.
The antipasto entree for 2 is massive, almost like 2 mains, could have stopped right there if we weren't a bit hungry.
Then the ribeye steak was a tad overdone for a medium, but it was very succulent nonetheless. The Salmon was reasonable, with that crispiness in the skin, pretty well right, so much vegetables though, and along with the antipasto, was a bit of an overload. The glass by the wine seems a bit small, perhaps, due to the glass it's served in.
Overall, quite nice but definitely big servings that tip it closer to quantity than quality, but a quality experience all the same.

Firstly the look of this place is a deal draw in. My girlfriend saw the lovely outdoor dining area with pond fountain and decided to eat here. We chose to be seated next to the fountain, this made for a wonderful setting!
The waitresses were happy to seat us and take our order. Drinks came out quickly, and entrees followed soon after, which were simple and delicious! (bread with olive oil and balsamic and meatballs) I have to say how impressive the meatballs were, flavoursome and reminded me of traditional Italian cooling of my grandparents.
Mains came out not to long after, they looked really delicious and I was excited to taste them. My gnocchi looked really appetizing with the melted cheese adding color to the cherry tomato sause. It tasted amazing! It was full of flavoursome, I thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful! My girlfriends fettuccini bolognaise looked great with plenty of meat, it was full of amazing flavoursome just like the meatballs.
Dishes were very filling, we could have stopped here, but being somewhat of a romantic evening we ordered dessert. Desserts were fantastic, they took maybe 15-20 minutes to come out but that was done to give us time to digest and make room for it.
Service was generally very good. I really enjoyed the fact that both of the waitresses were Italian and had a lovely accent, it added a sense of authenticity to the place. Though this was a slight problem when my girlfriend asked to describe one of the desserts she was unsure of. She couldn't explain it very well in English using basic descriptions, not really giving a good picture. I found it cute she offered to explain in Italian.
The price was fairly good for what we ordered: 2 entrees, 2 mains, 2 desserts and 2 drinks. Totalling $84.
I really enjoyed this restaurant for its wonderful authentic Italian food and feel. It often reminded me of nonna's cooking flavours when I was a boy many many years ago. This is definitely the best I've had since she passed away.
My girlfriend and I left very happy, and would definitely return next time we are in Sydney. We don't understand all the negative criticism here.

Attentive service with pleasant food. A nice quiet, beautiful place to eat on a Saturday night.

Nice front yard with fountain. However, the food I got was very ordinary and no inspiration.

I can't understand why there are so many bad reviews. We had a lovely lunch yesterday, sitting in the courtyard in the sun. Ok, the staff haven't been trained to 5 star restaurant standard, but they are very friendly and helpful. The food was really tasty, and big servings too. The calamari and prawns were particularly good. The setting is what really makes this place special and we will definitely go back again, which is the best recommendation I can think of.

Walked in off the street for breakfast with a friend. We ordered two basic meals and a latte. It took 35 minutes for the latte to arrive. After approximately 1 hour 20 minutes our food still hadn't been served. Nobody bothered to check if we were ok. Tried to get waitresses attention but no luck there. As we were very hungry by then we had to walk out and find somewhere else that could manage bacon and eggs within hour.
The food was probably great given preparation time, but, unfortunately, we will never know. Breakfast with caution people!

It was a toss up between the Spanish place and Fountain 77 Ristorante. Unfortunately, my girl friend wanted to go to Fountain 77 Ristorante.
The steak smelt like it has been microwaved to defrost it and then cooked. The resulting smell of the steak almost make me sick. The carrots in particular were quite rubbery.
Generally the food was below average, however, the service was good with the waiters polite and attentive. The entrees were served within a reasonable time frame, however, the mains took a fair while to come out.
If you do go to this restaurant and plan on catching a movie after, allow plenty of time. We were certainly wishing we went to the Spanish place instead when I was in the Cinema trying not to throw up from the thought of that steak.
If you are considering going to this restaurant so you can cross it off your list, don't bother, cross it off your list now.

Beautiful venue, with a good variety of art works on the walls. We found the staff to be attentive, especially being a Saturday night. The entrees were very nice, had two Carpaccios(beef and tuna). Had the seafood platter for the main, which was adequate, but not that much for 2 people ,although a nice variety, the prawns were smallish. All in all, very pleasant and with a bit of tweaking the menu will match the venue.

I wish I had read these reviews before deciding to pop into this restaurant, it seems a lot of people have had very similar terrible experiences. My boyfriend and I popped in for a quick dinner before going to the movies, we ended up going to the later session as the service was anything but quick.
Here's a quick list of what went wrong: slow service from the waitress and when she finally did take our order another confused looking waitress asked if we'd like to see a menu. The waitress struggled to speak/understand English and could only remember 1 of their 4 specials (the chef was probably wondering why the pork belly was selling so poorly!).
We ordered garlic bread to come out with the mains, immediately after the waitress asked if we would like an garlic bread. Then the garlic bread came out by itself as a starter anyway. Our table was beside an outdoor gas heater that smelt like it was leaking gas. When some other nearby diners let them know of the gas smell they just moved the heater closer to another table.
Disappointing wine. We thought all may be redeemed when the mains finally arrived, we thought wrong! I ordered prawn and scallop linguine. The prawns were in tiny pieces, my bet is that it was from a packet of frozen prawn meat. I found limited evidence of scallops in the dish, just a lonely bit of roe. The whole thing was swimming in oil.
My boyfriend ordered gnocchi with italian sausage and broccoli. The gnocchi was bland and stodgy. The "sausage" looked more like mince scraps and the broccoli was actually just the stalks. We asked for the bill, our waitress came outside several times afterwards cleaning tables etc, and we had to ask her for the bill again so we could get out of there. We finally received the bill over 35 minutes after asking for it.
Needless to say, we will never go there again, and will make sure our friends know to stay clear!

I was very let down by this restaurant. We had a private dining room and it was as if all the staff forgot that we were there. At 9:30pm the main had not arrived - I left as we had been there since 6:30pm! A total waste of an evening - it's not even worth a second chance - the food that I did have was mediocre.
