Always come here with my family every Friday or Saturday. It's great value and is always fresh and the service is pretty much what you would expect dining anywhere in Cabramatta. Price is average, you might pay more elsewhere. The food is so delicious it can become quite addictive!

There is no doubt no place serves better yum cha than cabramatta coming from a true Chinese background I would know. Overtime, Fortune8 has become the best yum cha around! The dumplings are amazing, home cooked feeling, very humble service, friendly not that rushing feeling you get when you're at Iron chef on the other side of the station. Although the decor isn't much, this place is a definite must try. I wouldn't recommended any other yum cha places around in this area. Enjoy.

This is great and value for money restaraunt. One of my fav yum cha places.
Small size 3.80 (eg. Two large custard buns), med 4.10 (dim sums). Large: 10 (eg. prawn wrapped in rice noodles). Special: 7.00 dollars (eg. salt and pepper squid). Tea is charged at $1 per person. There is a 1 dollar surcharge on public holiday.

Overall quite affordable for yum cha great food and service is quick and attentive. Great family business.

So far, it is the best Yum Cha I have been to as well. The staff are always on their feet and very willing to help and get you something special if you are looking for it. The ambience is quite bleak but the food has that home made taste which makes it so much better than all the other commercial Yum Cha's out there. Glad that this place is hidden a bit in Cabra so then it doesn't become too crowded!

Best Yum Cha we have been to. We are like family now - there every weekend.
Food is so fresh, staff are friendly and helpful. Best thing is that they can speak English, so you can find out what you're eating!
Recommend this place to everyone. Don't let the plain decor fool you.

This place is terrible in terms of service and ambience, for a yum cha establishment, it looks very run down and too simple. Service is very slow, they forget orders and the wait is always long. The food is mediocre and pretty much the same as every other yum cha in Cabramatta, definitely nothing that sets it apart from the rest.

Fortune 8 is the best yum cha in the greater Sydney area as far as we are concerned. I can't believe I haven't posted a review for this restaurant yet. We eat here at least once (sometimes two or three times) a week. The owners and staff are amazingly efficient and very welcoming and friendly, we almost feel like part of the family.

The menu is a little more limited than some of the larger yum cha places but there's still plenty to choose from. Value for money is amazing. Enough said- fortune 8 wins hands down.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time today. We thought it was fantastic. We had 7 dishes plus tea and soft drink for $40. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. We will be returning to Furtune8 again and again. We loved it and would recommend it to others.
