This used to be great, the coffee was Dreadful, food ok service average.

I went for a sandwich for the first time in years. It had good ingredients (mine had ham, avocado, provolone and a great tomato relish) but they no longer have the fantastic breads that they were noted for. In fact, I'm pretty sure they just use a supermarket multigrain. Coffee was good. Service was based around being cool but did the job and added atmosphere. Don't know if I'll return but I certainly won't bother with a sandwich.

Being a vegetarian these guys deliver a great range to please. Their menu is unique with original and flavorsome recipes. Been going there for years and they always pull thru. Service-wise they're helpful, the senior staff needs to learn to smile but her energy goes into the cooking!

I have to disagree with previous reviews. The service is fine, the food is great and they serve Campos coffee! Good breakfast range from your traditional eggs and bacon to some unusual yummy options. The Moroccan breakfast is my favourite.

Bad service. Thats the first thing I think of when I think of Foodarama. From being ignored at the cake counter trying to get a takeaway cake, to be ignored at the main counter trying to order a coffee, this place is not known for their friendly, inviting service. Its a shame as I have eaten 2-3 sit down meals here and they were impressively fresh and yummy but geez they do the business a disservice by being so rude.

Hands down the worst service in Newtown! I get the feeling that some of the below comments may be an inside job as time after time I hear nothing but complaints when it comes to this cafe.

Rude and inattentive staff makes for a very disappointing experience at Foodarama, where constant mistakes with the orders are met with filthy looks if one dares to approach the counter.

With the abundance of tasty and friendly options available at the south end of King St, Foodarama falls extremely short in expectations, value and acceptable customer service.

Great little place with loads of good interesting breakie choices, quite a good range for vegetarians. Can recommend the moroccan breakfast. yum. What's nice here compared with some other King St cafes is that they have some smaller/cheaper options as well as full breakfasts.

Not my favourite. Service was very haphazard and smoked salmon salad was a bit heavy-handed with the sauce. Portions were large and I would like to try their breakfasts.

A cute little clean, good value cafe with nice staff, what more could you want?
The staff were attentive and more than happy to let us share the big breakfast, the food was decent, nothing to rave about but it's not always easy to find a good breakfast on King Street, they are either sloppy with undercooked bacon and overcooked eggs or overpriced, this was just right for the price.
We will return.

Great little place, interestinng name, nice atmosphere and relaxed feel. Food was great and delivered very quickly. Table service was perfect, despite staff seemingly slightly disengaged with customers. Great experience - will definitely go back.
