Service was terrible. We put our name down for an 8.30 table and ending up waiting for 2 hrs for a table when the owner kept telling us it would be only another 10 minutes. Staff are not friendly and rude. We ended up walking out and not eating anything.

Love this place. Some may say it's not traditional mexican and so on, but I don't care! it tastes great. The dip plate to share is a great starter, burritos are good and the sangria options are also appreciated! always have a good meal here, great place for a group. Recommended.

I went with my partner for a getaway in Sydney, we are from Wollongong and the restaurant had been recommended to us by our local mexican Amigos (great place!). We were glad we had made a booking as many people were waiting for tables when we arrived. The fairyesque artwork and pastel walls made for a very romantic setting. We started with some cocktails from the bar, I can recommend the Chihuahua to anyone who likes to avoid milky or sugary drinks (blah).
We ate the signature fajitas which we really enjoyed and had just enough room for a couple of banana and chocolate chimichangas. We finished by sampling a couple of aged tequilas (Husson was beautiful!) Although we waited a little while for our food (understandable as was v. busy) it arrived fresh, hot and prepared with love.
The staff were efficient and polite and we look forward to going up again soon with a group of friends, jugs of margaritas mmm!

Knowing that mexican food is not very easily available in Sydney, we (4 of us) were really exicted to go there and not having made a prior booking, had a 1.5 hr wait, started with tequilas which were amazing, sangria-have definitely had better ones! was a disappointment with the food arriving 1.5 hrs after placing the order!and it was not just us but two other groups who were complaining about the same. Not to forget, very unfriendlly staff who had a very 'don't care' attitude. Food was quite nice but seeing a rat on the way out was disgusting!

Had a rather impromptu night out with a friend on Friday and decided to try this place out after hearing some fabulous things about it. I was initially told that there were no tables available when I called for a last minute booking, but was thoroughly impressed when the gentleman not only took my number but actually called me back when a table came available!
The meal itself was great, deep fried tortilla is an amazing plan! And I loved that it was all shredded beef, no minced meat in sight! Inevitably ordered too much, and couldn't fit in dessert so I'm really hoping that coconut cheesecake is on the specials menu when I visit here again in the future coz I gotta try that! My cocktail was ok, but my friend ordered a great tequila and cassis concoction which elicited immediate glass? (similar to plate) envy.
The service, while not spectacular, was unobtrusive and reasonably fast, and they were all friendly enough. Looking forward to my next excuse to return with more people.

Great food. No really, great food. We didn't have a booking and were told it as hour's wait, which it was. Make sure you book. Service was okay, considering it was busy, they were friendly though rushed.

Me and my friends ordered almost everything off the menu, however, the one that really stood out was the chichamungka, I can't remember the exact spelling but its the only with the word CHCIHA" and absolutely gorgeous! Great on money and your tummy! They have the fish as well which I found very exciting. Will definitely come back and will definitely recommend to everybody. Very polite and helpful staff, great ambience and great food. Well done!

Been here several times. The food is nice and the portion are very good. The margaritas are lovely. My favorites are the nachos and fajitas (beef and chicken).Went there once on Tuesday for the tacos but it wasn’t worth it, better to go on a regular evening.

We weren't told in advance that there were two sittings and so were turfed out after 50 minutes, denied dessert because the table was booked. Treated poorly, won't return, it spoilt our Mother's Day dinner.

Have been here twice, once on taco tuesday and was very pleased with the food! (although on taco tuesday the tacos only had meat and cheese in them and didn't come with all the fillings that you'd get on a normal night). Shredded beef tacos were a stand out.
Have also tried the homemade chorizo and steak fajitas- the only thing i could fault with this that they don't give you enough wraps (4) to get through all the meat! The chorizo was definately tastier than the steak. For dessert had the orange flavored creme brulee, which was interesting, but it was a bit too sweet- would've preferred normal creme brulee. Staff were ok, took awhile to flag some down, place is very very noisy but thats most likely due to its popularity.
Will definitely be back again, best mexican I've had so far in the city area! Its definately a lot more pricey than other joints, but the food was worth it.
