I would have to rate Flavour of India as the best Indian restaurant in Sydney. The food was delicious, fresh and flavoursome.

The Lamb Saag and Chicken Tikka Marsala were divine, both cooked tenderly and to perfection. The naan was also a standout. Staff were very attentive and friendly and totally on the ball. Can't wait to go back!

The Best, only The Best Samosas in all of Sydney. I would say in the world but I couldn’t speak on its behalf, however, it would come incredibly close. The freshness, crispiness, the spices, herbs, everything about that fried triangle pyramid is divine.

Food was great love this place been going for years but where has the service gone really the lady I spoke seemed spaced out and unconcerned with the fact that she was serving us cold food and was only too happy to sit at the bar and eat her hot food and passed of our complaint to another staff member which wasn't friendly at all the food is great but the staff are horrible and I'm sure they where at the talking about our group I will never dine in again and shall not recommend this place again until they hire new staff.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in SDydney. Even though it is on a busy road, the ambience is very nice. Service is outstanding. The food is delicious and has some original and different flavors, as well as great vegetarian options. Also has some really tasty low fat options, probably much healthier than the average Indian place.

Have been ordering takeaway for 7 years, last 6 months food always cold. Never again response from them was heat it up. Its not inexpensive I would expect better service.

The food just gets better every time I go there, serving are a good size and meet the chef who told us that all food is freshly cooked as you order, love the butter chicken masala and the somosas. Told that there are new owners and they have changes the wines and added great cocktails always an enjoyable visit.

I have been many times to Flavour of India. The food is great, as good as any other good Indian restaurant liike Bukhara etc. What I love about this restaurant that has recently changed, is that we were seriously surprised and delighted to find and enjoy some amazing but great value wines and even a cocktail or two that were as great as you would find in a decent cocktail bar, but far less expensive.

The girls shared one called Punjabi Fling that they raved about non stop. it was $19 and had rose petals and pychees through it and came in a carafe. Finally an indian restaurant in town offering more than a good curry... this will become a regular haunt once again with the new offerings they have there now. We loved it.

Finally went to this restaurant after 14 years of my partner occasionally saying he will take me there. Nice dinner (spectacular entrees but average mains) but not as wonderful as the restaurant's reputation.

Service from the first 2 waiters was quite cold but a lady who seemed to be in charge was more affable and pleasant. Lovely looking restaurant and I felt comfortable in the space. The entree was beautiful, best samosa I have ever had but it was overshadowed by the corn and coriander nuggets which were spectacular, one of the best things I can remember eating. The curries for the main course were nice but very average.

The menu described the pepper chicken and the lamb saag as moderate in heat but they lacked any chilli punch at all. Both dishes had a nice flavour but were a little disappointing as they had no real chilli punch and did not present as dishes from one of the premier Indian restaurants. To be honest, I have had better curries from the North or South Indian diner.

Despite that, it was a nice meal and I would rush back for the corn and coriander nuggets. Our evening was spoilt a little by the arrival of the bill which featured a dish we did not have at a price a little greater than anything we had ordered. The apology that was offered appeared very sincere and I walked out quite pleased with the dinner we had shared and determined to return, but only for the samosas and nuggets.

Have visited this restaurant many times, visited last week and again impressed again with the food. Staff are polite but not overpowering and wine prices are not bad, don't go before 7.00 pm as the road is a clear way until then after 7.00 pm you can park out the front. Like that the restaurant is not too noisy, I am moving to Potts Point looking forward to home delivery.
