    No frills gym. No classes as such. Spin room has a video instructor. There is going to be a coin operated boxing circuit.

    Free weights and cardio equipment are decent and the cardio section did have flat screen televisions at the front. Change rooms and showers are basic. The showers have a communal drain hole in the middle cubical so you would have to use the cubicles on the ends for the cleanest ones. Other option is to try and sneak into the disable toilet and shower.

    The advertised price is cheap but once you add in the regular fees it might be only a few dollars cheaper a week than fitness first. Still bargain hunters will still love this place. The black membership lets you bring along a guest for free. So in theory you can split the membership fee between 2 people, however, I think the membership would still be in one name.

    It is definitely one step up from a community gym. That would be one aspect that would worry me though. The entry price is low enough for teenage schoolboys to all want to join up and crowd the place out.
