Not sure if he's still working there, but there was a very rude staff taking orders and looking after the cashier. Since that awful service, I'd never want to go back.

Been here twice now, the first time the fish was OK but the tempura prawns tasted off and were inedible. This was pointed out to the staff, who just said sorry, but otherwise did not seem overly concerned.

Given the previous positive reviews, thought to try it again in case it was just a hiccup in the kitchen. The second visit saw us having traditional fish and chips. The fish was cooked in a layer of paprika or some similar spice like it was coated with something from a Masterfoods spice jar, which obliterated the flavour of the fish.

Despite the friendly staff, having been disappointed on 2 occasions now, would not return.

We on holiday from Melbourne Victoria and Townsville Qld the worst Fish and Chips we have ever tasted. Whole prawns deep fried, Disgusting - Wrong. Fish was Ok and wedges nice. Potato Cake too thick and calamari tasteless, Not Recommended.

Got take away. Tempura prawns with the whole prawn battered, nothing removed, not crispy just plain wrong and nearly ripped my throat open. Shame it was take away as would have kicked up a stink. Also $1.50 for a slip of corn was a joke. Would not recommend.

This new place serves up the best fish and chips in Manly by far. Hand cut chips and great sauces too.

Best fish and chips in Manly by a long way! Generous portions and always a great selection of fish with some really lovely marinades or home made sauces. Can't beat the baby octopus as a delicious alternative! Go there all the time and have never been disappointed. Friendly staff and quick, efficient service.

This is one of my favourite places to grab fish & chips takeaway. Very generous portions and quite healthy since the fish is lightly battered. So instead of your typical fish and chips, you get a lot more fish than batter. This is a cafe, so don't go here expecting fine dining, but they do have tables and they've never charged me for BYO. Alternatively take your food and head to the beach.

Very delicious twist to your usual fish and chips. the Fish are lightly battered in tempura which makes a healthier and a lot less greasy option to the usual battered fish. I bought the tempura fish with salad and a corn cob which was absolutely delicious. It surprisingly came with a lot of salad and the corn was a treat! Will definitely be returning!
