My wife and I had a Friday lunch at Fish at the Rocks with a Spreets Coupon. When we arrived we were surprised how busy the restaurant was. Our table was prepared and we were seated promptly. The first serving was an entree tasting platter, presented and explained first class. The main platter was excellent and also very well presented. (I love my seafood) We enjoyed our lunch immensely, even gave a reasonable tip (which I very rarely do). The voucher was excellent value, but we would return and pay normal price!

What has happened to this place?! Used to be fantastic. It must have had a management change in the last 12 months or something. As well as a cook change and a menu change. Food is now nothing more than you should expect from a cheap pub. Gutted to see the end of this once very fine establishment.

Really enjoyed a lunch here recently felt most welcomed and the staff were very helpful to us as we wanted prawns on their own and not an issue for this place.

6 of us dined at Fish At The Rocks last Saturday night. We used 2 Spreets coupons and the other couple ordered the same dishes. I totally agree word for word with the review given by LouMar. We were extremely happy with all aspects of the restaurant. It is a bit on the pricey side, however we had a most enjoyable, relaxing evening, with lovely food and friendly service.

I decided to take my parents here and was very disappointed in the restaurant as a whole. It is overpriced and not worth the money. You would think since my mother mentioned that she didn't like the fish that they would have taken something off of the bill but nothing. I could have gone elsewhere and enjoyed a lot better food then what was offered here. Do yourself a favor and save your money and go somewhere that is better priced and actually has a view instead of a stuffy place where all you see are cabs going by.

We recently dined at Fish at the Rocks on Spreets Coupons , 4 of us for my husband's birthday . As soon as we arrived we were warmly greeted and showed to our table. The first platter that arrived was an entree tasting platter and was yum oh! The waitress explained everything on the platter which was a lovely touch. The main platter was just as yummy. We travelled over an hour to get to the restaurant from where we live and it was well worth the drive.... we can't wait for the next excuse to visit... thanks so much.

The whole experience was absolutely wonderful. The ease of parking, beautiful lay out, intimate atmosphere, exceptional service all made this a great night. Our seafood platter was just to die for! The nicest seafood selection I have had in a long time, incredible scallops, magnificent mussells, lovely smoked salmon with caviar, and a variety of different fish portions. Everything was cooked to perfection boasting a variety of beautiful flavours and was wonderfully presented.

The staff made us feel very welcome they were attentive and friendly. I truly look forward to returning to this place in a couple of weeks time as I think it will be a perfect place to take our father to for his birthday. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, we can't wait to return, Darren and Sarah.

This was our visit to the restaurant using a Spreets Voucher, Seafood Platter Tasting Experience. The platter were served differently to the traditional hot and cold platters. It was interesting and worth trying experience. Although the entree platter was good but the main platter was a disappointment at the same time. The strong "fishy" taste indicates that the seafood was not as fresh as it should be given that this is a seafood restaurant.

Not to mention that the prawns were not plump or succulent. This is definitely not the normal size platter on the menu which sells for A$120 (hence not the savings as indicated on the ad). There were 2 BBQ prawns on the main platter with a selection of grilled fishes.

Therefore, there was one prawn each and half of a portion of each variety of fish to share between the two. In summary, the entree platter was good, main platter was a disappointment and portion size very small. On the positive side, we had great service from a very efficient and polite waiter upstairs.

Won't be returning any time soon though.

Was looking forward to eating here with a scoopon voucher but was very let down.
Service was excellent brought our own bottle of wine no problems could choose anything off the menu or blackboard specials apart from shellfish etc.

Had the saffron chowder tasted like yellow flavoured soup nothing startling. The gravalax which came with rosti and zucchini fritters was cold and small. The Barramundi was bland and tagine that my fish was presented on was tomato zucchini and potatoes nothing special considering the venue or the prices charged. Could have cooked better at home I will be honest would not return.

Went with my wife on Friday night. The fish meals are quite nice but don't expect too much value for the dollar you pay. I had to fill up with a $8 (small) plate of chips. It is quite annoying that a sprinkle of rocket and/or baby spinach has replaced the usual vegetables/salad. These are now considered to be 'side orders'. Basically getting fed-up (not here) with these establishments that consider the 'tasting experience' should replace the value in meal.
