Highly recommend this place. Be prepared to pay for it but it's heaps of fun and the food is definitely delicious. Zucchini fries yummo! The wine selection is great.

Very good food and excellent atmosphere. I have been here twice and both times I was impressed with the service. Many have said it and I agree the zucchini fries are a must, even if they are a little bit oily. My other picks would be any of the pizzas and the lamb back-strap. It's expensive, but you'll never leave this place hungry, both times we didn't manage to finish all of our food.

I agree food is pricey but it is cosy and the food is delicious. We paid $90 for two without wine, however, I would go back again to taste some of the numerous wines to offer. We had zucchini fries ($10) - a must, pan fire haloumi for 14.50, seared scallops and lamb back strap. We eyed off the olives on the next table and will try those next time.

Service was average - 4 or 5 wait staff but still forgetting to put down cutlery etc, forgot drinks on the next table. We will go back to savor some of the other tapas options, but be prepared for a $45 per person price tag for 3-4 dishes.

Good bar with a great feel, food not bad a little pricey but overall pretty good I think they could sharpen up the service though.

I have no idea why Firefly has been getting the bad reviews it has been getting on the comments below. However, I do agree that some of the food might be a tad overpriced. I opted for a cheaper option and chose to go on a Sunday where pizzas are only $15 all day!

I adored the pizzas - thin crust, nice toppings. Our table of 7 ordered 2 pizzas, 2 pork bellies, 2 beef ribs and 2 zucchini fries. We left feeling really full. The beef ribs were coming off the bone and extremely tender and the pork bellies had a nice Asian twist to it. The zucchini fries are nice when shared with a group but I reckon it would get really heavy after a while (if shared amongst 2).

What I loved about Firefly is the cosiness of the venue. We did not book but only waited 15 minutes for a table of 7. I also liked the abundance of free parking around the area - always a plus!

Service was slow, food and wine was overpriced and even though we ordered their 'Sharing Menu' for 8 people everyone left hungry. I doubt I would go back and there’s much better value at the other restaurants on that street, but for those that I do I definitely wouldn’t recommend the pre-set "Sharing menu" as they under-cater big groups to save money, it was an absolute rort.

This used to be my favourite place until they took the greek lamb pizza off the menu. None of the other pizzas even come close to being as good, and that is a great shame. Their zucchini fries are also very good. Cool little bar.

Have avoided the busy times, and been for supper (after the movies) and breakfast (on the weekends). Tapas is expensive, so the bill adds up. Quality and range is very good. Breakfast choices were innovative and tasty. Service was good. There are few good wine bars around, so this is on my regular list now.

Updated: been several more times, and Firefly holds up. Service is good, even when they are very busy - which is most of the time. Not a cheap option, but always a good experience.

I've eaten here a few times and I've always enjoyed my meal. Last time we had the $44 banquet dinner and it was filling and delicious. The dessert of chocolate mousse was a highlight.
