The Best Portuguese custard tarts in the inner-west, no comparison. But their coffee is not very good, if it was as good as the tarts then it would be Mecca (or Lisbon)!

My family and I love this little cafe, especially the portugese tarts, which are the best! Always service with a smile and a very friendly atmosphere. The best thing though (apart from their gorgeous food) is value for money. We love going here every week.

Fernandes Patisserie is a fantastic little shop in the heart of Dulwich Hill which has been around for several years now. A vast and colourful range of Portuguese sweets, tarts, wonderfully delicious cakes and tasty sandwich fillings. A real family atmosphere in the best way to describe Fernandes Patisserie. Alfresco seating is also available.

Great all round for a casual sit around, the cakes are fabulous and fresh, service is sincere and warm. The coffee is ok but can be better, ideal and innocent atmosphere...great pattiserie.

What a little gem. I think I've found the greatest little Portuguese cake shop. The variety is huge and very impressive with all sorts of cakes, tarts and sweets. I sampled 3 varieties of Portuguese tarts and they were brilliant. The well known Portuguese custard tart was a blowout, the almond tart was sweet, and the coconut tart was great.

HOWEVER, the coffee was disappointing don't know why as I had both a latte and an espresso and they didn't do much for my cravings. It's a bit of a pity as the store is romantic and has a nice feel to it. Get a better machine and a better blend girl as you rock with your cakes.
