We went to Farsaci on Friday night, it looks like expensive restaurant, but it is not. the service is good, the food is also nice and reasonable price, even cheaper than most restaurants around Norton Street.
We recently just ate there and found the ambience to be pleasant, like we were eating in the living room of a big house. It was actually nice and quiet and we did not have to book to get a table for 3.
There was a waiter and waitress who served us and they forgot our drinks initially and accidentally added an extra dish to our order. We actually felt a bit like they wanted us to move along because the waiter and waitress took away our empty dishes when one of us was still eating their main. When we said we were not sure about dessert, the waiter gave us the bill without giving us time to consider (the bill also had the extra pasta dish we did not order). We actually ordered drinks but they forgot them and we had to remind them again.
The food was okay, not bad but not especially outstanding. We had lasagne, tortellini and the veal. The tortellini was okay, but the lasagne was soggy. The pricing was average but not too expensive.
Simple, unfussy, but well cooked food at reasonable prices. Excellent friendly service. Never going to win a michelin star, or a SMH hat, but that is not the thing here. Great local restaurant. Recommend highly.
Always great for an early dinner before a show. Nicky is a great waiter and very attentive. Breakfasts are good as well! A great local place for a quick decent pasta or meal. Wine is reasonably priced as well!
