Their Prawn Puyunghai is the best, you will remember the taste for years and years. It is so crunchy and with just taste so right. Nasi goreng is very nice too. You cannot go wrong with these 2 dishes.

Good foods with good value! A must to try is the fried rice, also the "Kwetiau Siram". It's a family restaurant where they don't hire extra help for waiter, but still reliable. Place isn't fancy at all, very casual.

Not pretty but good food. As some of the other reviewers have said it is Indonesian-Chinese rather than pure Indonesian. Friendly and basic service. We had soup and noodles. Both were good. Very cheap at $7.50 a dish. I'd go back for a quick meal.

When I want a great value lunch in a relaxed Asian kitchen setting, Fajar is a great option. The nasi goreng range is excellent and authentic. Friendly family staff.

I went here a couple of times when I was student when I did not have much time, money and facility to cook Indonesian food. The more I went to the other restaurants, the more I realised how much MSG they added into the food. The quality was just ok, but you can taste the MSG in the fried rice. When you leave the place, you may find your clothing smell like food because they cook the food near the dining tables. I hardly will come there again.

One of my favorite restaurants in Sydney. Nasi campur, puyung hai, goh yong and the bihun goreng are the best in my opinion. The nasi goreng is also great.
Recommended as this is one of the few establishment which serve authentic chinese indonesian cuisine.

Feels like eating in Duta Mas suburb in Jakarta when I'm in the restaurant. Don't wear your best clothes in this restaurant as the oil steam will and I repeat will stick to your clothes giving it an unpleasant smell for about 24 hours. As for service, make sure that you see what's the staff is writing down when you're ordering.

Nasi goreng tasted good. It was nice and spicy as requested. The dishes were more of Chinese-Indonesian. It was good for a quick meal.

Do not bother to choose which one to have, almost all of the food are nice. The fried rice, nasi campur and rice noodle are three of a kind (don't know whats that mean, lol) this is the place to go if you want authentic Indonesian - Chinese food with a great taste. If you order something, just make sure to double check it, sometimes the guy write something else.

They have nice Nasi Campur (Rice with assorted Pork dishes and sweet sauce) and Kwetiauw Siram (wet rice noodles). It's quite authentic as the typical Chinese-Indonesian food in Jakarta.

If you're looking for a place to eat, regardless of how the place looks like. This is the place to be! Food are great. Try Nasi Goreng Campur, Nasi Campur, and Rice Noodles.. they're the best in town.
