What a pleasant evening we had, we were there on a quiet sunday evening and for most of the meal just our table of 4 adults and one 2 yr old. As we had a voucher, we had a set menu and could choose vegetarian or non-vegetarian. We were asked if we liked certain foods...eg goat, or fish and then we just said, bring food and we leave it up to you, it was Yum! It was so good to have different foods and tastes. The 2 yr old enjoyed everything as well. He loves a curry and rice!

Our host for the evening was a friendly young man and looked after us so well. Thanks Rob! We will be only too happy to return to this restaurant.

We tried this place and it was nice. The food was tasty and the service was very friendly. The only downside was that we were the only customers in the restaurant!

We were so happy when this little gem opened up. Delicious curries and other accompaniments, with unique spice flavours to enjoy. Very friendly, welcoming service too. Smiling every time!

I thought I would give the place a go and bought a voucher. I booked the table, and turned up a Friday night at about 6pm. There was no one there. The decor also needs an update, as it feels very 70's. I didn't have high expectations.
The voucher entitled us to entree, main and dessert. The food was surprisingly good. Spicy and flavoursome. By the time we left half the place was full. If you want to try something different, consider this place.

We wanted to try something different so came here on a rainy weekday for lunch and had the place to ourselves. Service was attentive (I think the owner and his wife) and friendly. For entree we ordered the potato cakes and homemade pastry - which looked a lot like samosas but came with thicker pastry and more of a chilli kick to the filling than you usually get with Indian. Both were tasty and came with mint sauce (yum) and salad. The kids' fish & chips was a pleasant surprise - I admit I was expecting plain battered fish and chips but the fish had a spicy twist to the coating and the chips were homemade kettle-chip style. The Everest grilled chicken was delicious and tender (being a lazy cook I marvelled at the beautiful knifework in the meat prep for all the dishes), the traditional curry was interesting and tasty though the meat could have been tenderer and I think I prefer the heavy cream-based Indian style, having now tried this. The tandoori chicken was yum and I definitely prefer the Nepalese version! For dessert we tried Laal mohan and it was very sweet - our sweet-averse party members tried some and pronounced it tasty (really loving the spices in everything) but too sweet for their palates. I found it fine but if I'd eaten all the syrup it would have been too much. All in all, a lovely lunch, with new and interesting things to try.

I tried this by chance after living in the area and not noticing it for so long. I'm glad I did! Fantastic service from the moment you walked in the front door, I straight away changed my venue for the christmas party as the value was exceptional for all you can eat. My guests thought the entree was the main meal and was full after it. I highly recommend this restaurant for food and service. Will be back many times Namaste.

The food is just like Indian food. If you are not in the area, I do not suggest you to put effort to go there as there are plenty of other Indian restaurants that are much better than this. Nothing extraordinary about this restaurant. It is also not easy to find a place to park your car.

My husband and I ate here on a coupon. It was a complete surprise as we totally loved our meal. We still talk about how delicious it was and have already recommended it to many people. In my opinion the deals are lighter in sauces but more fragrant and taster than Indian food (I love indian food). A seet menu was put together for us which was great as we got to taste many different foods off the menu. The goat was good, I had never tasted it before. Overall the food was excellent, service nice though as many have said here a little shy and Value for money. We will definitely be back to eat dinner again!

Went here for lunch with a discount coupon. They are open all day which is a bonus over the weekends when life is a little slower. The banquet we had introduced us to some foods we had never eaten and it was all so tasty. Extremely good value for money, the servings for two could have easily served three. Left there having enjoyed a really good meal and feeling very full. The staff were just lovely. Definitely going back.
