Too noisy, food very basic, decor authentic but does not achieve its aim. Very very noisy.

Extensive beer menu doesn't compensate for an extremely average eating experience. Belgian cuisine is far better than the dull fare served up here and aside from the obligatory mussels, fries and croquettes, there are few traditional Belgian courses on the menu at all. On the two occasions I've eaten here, the mains have been below par. Even the chips were more Bournemouth than Brugge: fat, soggy and salty. Disappointing!

Best atmosphere! A whole menu just for beers! Truly a great night out with a bunch of mates or just for 2.

If you want great beer good bar/pub service, good oysters and hearty meals, this is a great place. Need to book early for the meals as it fills up quickly! Reliable favourite.
