Entertainment is through the Staff. Music is entirely dependent on how the staff feel that day. We do Reggae, and Elvis, Abit of Rock with Stevie Nicks. Anything goes with RnB as well as Priscilla, Queen of the dessert. Alot of Disco. We do Australain Artists such as Men at Work, Midnight Oil.

Overview of Empire Cafe

This is one cafe with absolute Buzz. Well presented and professional Staff, that cater to your every whim. Fantastic Music, Absolutely spotless bathroom with a Change Table for New parents and Newborns. High Chairs for Toddlers and Baby sitters (staff). An absolute Comfort Zone for the Elderly, Indoor and Outdoor seating with the outdoor covered with a 4x3m Umbrella which they drop to block the Road Noise Out. Coffee is EXCELLENT when the "RED HEAD" makes it. The food is simple and tastes great and is probably one of the few shops that do Bacon n Eggs. All eyes are on this Cafe.

Seriously great place. I frequent this cafe everyday and although it's not A class restaurant grade fine dining, compared to what you get as an all round cafe, it's hard to beat. Portion sizes are massive.

Great, friendly staff that are always there to help you! The food is awesome and served in big quantities and they don't mind catering to special requests either! Also great coffee!

My flat white is inevitably a pleasing cup of coffee. I would have liked it a little hotter. The food was ordinary, small portion and very pricey. My food was presented on a chipped plate, very unprofessional. Conversations held between the barista and customer were very inappropriate and disturbing. I definitely have to think twice about coming here next time.

The owner must think that they are in Bondi or Mosman. Prices are exorbitant for the serving size in comparison with other cafes within a 3 km radius. Cafes in the city that have higher rents are by far more reasonably priced. Staff are very unprofessional looking too.

Came feeling very hungry and was impressed with the food and generous portion size. The menu isn't hugely exciting but the coffee and service is great.

I love this cafe. It makes the best coffee in Dulwich Hill. One of the things that strikes you immediately is how friendly the staff are, they will always make room to accommodate you and are responsive to questions. I haven't eaten here yet but am looking forward to giving it a try.

I have been to the Empire on quite a few occasions. I live in Dulwich Hill and this is my favourite cafe. The menu is pretty standard, but all my meals have been good. The decor is average. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Don't expect fancy creations that other cafes pride themselves on, but come here for good honest food, that is consistently good, and great service. I keep coming back, in favour of the other cafes on the street, because of the warm friendly service. Such a great change from other stuffy cafes with attitude!

The Empire Cafe is by far the best cafe within Dulwich Hill, Marrickville and Summer Hill. Having lived in the Inner City and the Inner West for almost a decade, the Empire is by far my favourite choice when it comes to atmosphere, food and coffee. The staff are friendly and service is excellent. We often take our toddler along with us and enjoy al fresco dining. The access to baby seats makes eating at the Empire much easier with our boy. Come along and enjoy the Empire experience.

Love it. Great coffee, incredibly friendly staff (a week after my first visit the lovely woman behind the counter remembered my coffee order, what a woman!). Just great in every way.
