I ate here last night and the food is really good. I had the wagyu, but others had moussaka, filo pie and lamb shoulder and everyone was very satisfied. They did lose our booking so we were seated out in the pub area, but otherwise the service was really good and for the price I would highly recommend it.

Been here twice now, first time I had the lamb shoulder on orzo pasta and second time the Wagyu beef casserole. Both times the meat was tasty and melt-in-the mouth, the dishes were flavourful and filling. They also serve beautiful thickly sliced ciabatta bread with olive oil and sea salt complimentary, which in itself is a treat! Will be going back to try the rest of the dishes for only $15 for lunch. Lucky to have this near the office!

I was there with a group of friends back in november, the staff was unfriendly and rude, do they know that it doesn't hurt to smile? My friend ordered a medium rare steak and it came out well done but my risotto was very nice.

As the other reviewer said, this is better than your average pub lunch, and not bad value. However, I'm not really sure how fresh it is, as from the little dining room you can directly see a food prep area where they are just throwing stuff in a microwave. My food definitely tasted straight-from-the microwave, as in super hot and reheated/leftover flavors. I guess at this price you can't expect super fresh food, but still, I found it a bit disappointing.

Eleni's is great because the food is reasonable and a little bit different from most pub food. It is most easily described as something "home cooked". I had Kurobata pork which was delicious, just falling off the bone. The servings are not huge, but there is enough considering the very reasonable prices. You can eat in the pub or in the mini-dining room around the corner. The pub has a good wine list and is comfortable too.
