Had the great good fortune to enjoy dinner at El Phoenician tonight, and was moved by the amazing quality of the food and service to submit a review. As part of a corporate dinner in the private function room we had the banquet for about 30 people.

The food was plentiful and fresh, served up in spades, and the service, provided mainly by the amazing Joclyne was second to none. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable on the restaurant and the food, and with an almost intuitive sense of what the diners needed, from drinks to more food!

From the greeting at the door, to the incredible dessert, this place is truly five star. A huge thank you to the chefs, the staff, and of course the incomparable Joclyne! Definitely a restaurant to merit multiple returns!

Just enjoyed a lovely Mother's Day dinner at El Phoenician Parramatta. Made a last minute booking with no hassles.

Despite the restaurant being almost full, service was impeccable.

We decided on trying the vegetarian platter and the meat and poultry platter for four. The food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Dips and salads came out a few minutes after ordering and the rest of the food not too long after. Drinks came out very promptly also. Service was attentive throughout the meal and extras such as garlic sauce, breads and dips were topped up without having to ask.

Table was cleared in a matter of seconds with four staff making sure all plates and used glasses were gone and table was crumbed and ready for dessert! We were given a complimentary dessert platter consisting of some baklava and fresh fruit (watermelon, strawberries and blueberries).

Obviously, this place is in a different league to the El Jannahs and Awafis of the area and is best for special night out or a group dinner. We used an Entertainment Book voucher so had 25% off, which made the entire experience extremely good value.

The place has a warm and relaxing feel to it and the fit out is very contemporary.

Not really knowing what to expect food-wise, we have come away very impressed and will definitely return. Definitely one of the better establishments on Church St.

The staff don't ever let customers choose and coax customers to buy extra food even though they make it clear they don't want it, drinks arrive 45 minutes later and it's the wrong order and staff are hostile to customers who ask for bills, better service on third world countries. The senior staff takes orders from ill mannered and loud staff members oh and the food is really average, no tip left and there were 17 of us.

Went here with my boyfriend and it was an amazing experience! We ordered the El-Phoenician Banquet and the food was absolutely delicious! Service was top notch, so friendly and inviting. In my opinion the prices matched up to what they served on the plate. The dips and tabouli were heaven and the chicken and lamb skewers, to Die for!! Highly recommend!

Great food, great service. A Little disappointed when I found out that the staff do not receive their tips. But overall great value for money.

Excellent a must. It was our first time having lebanese and the staff explained everything. Service was excellent and the restaurant was really busy. They didn't rush us. Even the coffee was fantastic. Thank you all.

First and foremost the staff are brilliant, right from booking. Every staff member is attentive and friendly. We went for the Sydney festival for which there was a deal.

The food was really good and we got to try a bit of everything for a lesser price of $30 per head with a glass of wine. Even with this deal I do agree with the previous reviewer that it is slightly pricey. When you know you can get the same amount of really good food at Greenacre or Lakemba and at the price per 1 head, I don't know if I'd go back. Don't get me wrong though, the food is really well done, just a bit over priced for Parramatta.

First of all the wait staff were pretty awesome and attentive. They rushed to clear us a table and were prompt in taking our order.

We sat on the street opposite a store that sold artworks, so it was good to have something interesting to look at while we waited for our meals. Also got to watch all the hillarious Parra locals pass by.

While the food was good, it definitely wasn't value for money. $45pp for a meat platter, when you can go to Guildford/Auburn etc for something similar at $20 a platter.

The chicken wings were absolutely disgusting and I would recommend that they get rid of them. Also by the time you get through it, most things are cold. Sorry guys, I won't be back in a hurry.

Six of us tried El Phoenician last night for the first time and we were impressed. Very very nice food. Probably the best of this type of food we have had. The service was friendly and very efficient. The very attentive staff could almost be compared to the style of attention you see when flying in first class. Most impressive many restaurants could learn alot from them.

The staff we also well versed in the menu and able to recommend and explain the dishes very well. The food itself was amazing. We had one of the banquets and there was so much food. We didn't quite get through it all. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection.

I couldn't recommend El Phoenician highly enough.
