I've eaten here many times. The $7 meals are great value. Bangers and Mash is good, though I do prefer a bit more mash. A while ago I had steak with pepper sauce. Delicious. It can get very crowded and noisy.
Ate here on the friday once, ordering from the full price menu. My friend and I had the fish and chips, and the lamb shanks. Fish and chips was nice. Crispy batter and the fish was well cooked. The lamb shanks were nice but the quality wasn't great. My friend joked that it was more mutton than lamb.
I highly recommend the "Eddy". It's one of the few honest pubs left in the city. It has good pub food.
Not a bad pub but it gets ridiculously crowded (and noisy) later in the week. Beers are surprisingly pricey, I've had cheaper beers down the other end of town. Both points are probably because of the lack of serious competition in the area: it's a better pub than the others nearby on Park St though.
Reasonable food quality and prices, typical pub fare. I go there usually at lunch. It's very popular and they never seem to have enough staff. Staff are pretty good, just not enough of them for efficient service.
Had dinner here for the first time the other night. Not bad. Love the 'new outdoor area'... Staff could be a little more attentive in all bars. Not bad but not great. Would go back and try again
