Very nice, the place is a bit pricy but the view and service make up for it. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the cocktails topped off the night
Thanks ECQ
Beautiful views!!! Very nice staff and filling meals. The salt and pepper calamari is definitely my favourite and I loved the fusion cocktail, well presented and sweet. Thank you ECQ for a lovely night out.
As some one on holidays, I was advised to come here for some drinks. As I am someone who works in the industry, I was absolutely disgusted at the level of service considering the location, venue and cost associated with everything in this place. In saying that, the barman were excellent in the skills re cocktails and the views are spectacular. That's about the only thing going for this place, if you don't like arrogance, steer clear of this place.
Good views, let down by staff and food unfortunately. Staff don't really know what's on their own menu, and the time it took for meals plus the overall quality was less than expected given the price. You do pay a premium for the view, probably best reserved for a couple of pre dinner drinks with an elevated view, before heading out for dinner or a show at the opera house.
Had a few beers here last night. Food was fine and staff were friendly (And I dont even have breasts). Yip, it's a little pricey but $18 for a very filling Pad Thai isn't too bad considering you're overlooking a national icon.
Horrible place, horrible service, overpriced and staff don't know what they are doing. Food is just disgusting, don't go. You are better off buying a burger from elsewhere and sitting near the opera house. Service time was off, food came out in dribs and drabs. Left aside, then finally brought over to our table. Just disgusting.
DISGRACEFUL PLACE!!! Never will i ever go back again, service was lousy, had to wait aages for food ,was not even busy, waiters had no clue , asked for something and had to remind them again to get what we wanted. When the food came out on our table, the last person didnt get their order untill 20 mins later. Shocking service. Why you pay $ 15 for a wrap and kettle chips??? Wasnt even worth the wait time. Chicken snitzel sandwich bread was stale and dry overall. Overall, food and service is shocking.
Absolutely appalling. The Schnitzel Sandwhich with fries was $16.50 and served with tip top white bread, cold fries and tough inedible chicken. I mentioned it to the staff and it didn't even register. One of the meals turned up well after everyone else had finished without explanation or apology. The drinks were overpriced, Even for the view which is OK but not even close to the best of the bars along the East Circ Quay complex. A complete wate of money, a cold atmosphere and School Tuckshop food (Chicken wrap with kettle chips for $15??!?!) Contributes to a very ordinary experience.
Looking up at the bar from CQ level I thought it looked completely wanky but after being dragged there by friends I changed my mind.
Staff were friendly, cocktails were a bit pricy but very yummy and the view was great. Will definitely go again!
