We have been regularly going to this restaurant for the last 9+ years. The food is great and the best part is that it is consistent. We have never found a dish to taste different from what was expected. Love their Calamari, Hot and Sour soup and spring rolls for entrees.
In the mains there are some lovely 'off the beaten track' dishes, Chicken with Chinese Wine sauce, Eggplant with minced pork, Kung Po chicken, plus all the other regular Chinese restaurant fare.
The staff is very friendly and always welcome you with a big smile. The service is also fantastic. We have never taken more than an hour from sitting down to finishing a very satisfactory meal. Will definitely keep going back. Love the place.

Used to live in the area 20 years ago and this was a fun, lively, busy place with good food and great service. It catered to community groups and was always clean, busy and turning out great food. Recent visits have been a bit disappointing.
The food is still quite good but decor is starting to suffer and the seafood tank was stuck outside full of algae and the big sliding doors were wide open to either air the place or save on airconditioning! The attitude seems to be less care factor than needed from a place that used to be the jewel of pennant hills dining.

Service was appalling, waiter had a bad cold, he didn't listen to our request that the spring rolls we ordered be brought to the table whilst we chose the other dishes, he insisted on taking the rest of the order, sizzling dish stopped sizzling well before the rice arrived.

Poor things. I have been here three times now and we have been the only table twice and the third time, there was one other table. Food is okay, yum cha is reheated frozen dim sum from an outside supplier. They kinda hurry you to order because it can take a while to steam some of the bigger frozen things.
Freshly cooked food off the menu is quite good but very suburban-chinese rather than chinese food chinese people would order. The service is friendly but a huge restaurant that is always empty does not make good ambience.

I love love love this place. Every time we're in the area we make an effort to come here, food is great, prices not bad, service is good. Try the peking beef, pan fried beans and the sweet and sour fish. sooo good!

An above average suburban Chinese restaurant with all the 'usual suspects' on the menu - all freshly prepared. Friendly staff.

The Good Bits: Usually good service and very friendly staff. Your standard chinese dishes, pretty tasty and good value, but nothing mind blowing. Plenty of space, so typically, no need for a booking; some fancy carrot sculptures included with each main.
The Not So Good Bits: Seem to struggle a bit when it's busy and meals come out late, they needed some training wheels for the yum cha when we went at lunch time (although that may have changed by now). Would we go back for sure.

Have been going to this place for the past 25 years and in that time its only changed hands once. The food is quite good and not too expensive. The decor and atmosphere is comfortable. Parking is no problem as there are 2 big car parks.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. It's easy to miss this place because they're located upstairs (you do have to go up a flight of strairs to get in) and the doorway is small and inconspicuous. Looks like they have yum cha available too but we haven't tried that yet.
