Went here for Yum Cha on Friday. I love ordering from the menu rather than the carts. It's good if you know what you like and normally get the same dishes. You have to get the suckling pig... yummo.

Very crowded, very rushed, rude service. Not made to feel welcome. Once seated no service at all. Difficult to get someone to take our order. Even more difficult to order a drink. Nice food that arrived quick once order finally taken. Dining out should be a nice, enjoyable experience. For the prices charged better service is expected. Won't be going back, much better off going to a smaller place where they are happy to have you and food is just as good.

I came here with 3 other friends for Yum cha one Sunday afternoon. Got seated straight away. No issue there.
Despite the fact I like the concept of picking out of a trolley when I come to Yum Cha, I also like to have food within 10 minutes of sitting down and that's what happened after ticking off what we wanted from the menu!
Food was tasty and we tried new things too. Service wasn't all that great, sufficient but not friendly... that's to be expected sometimes at Yum Cha on a Sunday afternoon in Tourist Central!
I don't understand what everyone's issue is with charging $2.50 for tea. It's $2.50pp! Give me a break! For 4 of us... total bill was just over the $90 mark! For 4 people, I say thats a bargain!
I say quit your whining and go somewhere else if you can't afford $2.50 for tea! But that just my opinion!

Yum cha was yum, service was somewhat abysmal. The no trolley system, which is now the default option in Hong Kong, means that all our food was piping hot and super fresh. Prices were as expected for a yum cha meal.

Dined here on a Friday night with a friend of mine. Had a fantastic dining experience. The service was excellent. They asked if we needed help with the menu or if we were in a rush. We ordered the prawns with cashew nut and the duck. Both were very delicious. I was not initially a fan of chinese food but my opinions have changed. It was very fresh and delicious. A little on the pricey side but its worth it. Can't wait to go back again.

This place is overpriced. They charge $20 corkage per bottle of wine and the cheapest wine you can buy at the restaurant is $70. I definitely don't mind paying a little more for great quality food and excellent service, unfortunately, I received neither.
I am vegetarian and spoke to the waiter about getting a dish off the menu that contain no fish. He said no problem and proceeded to give me a plate of plain steamed bok choy without any sauce. Not wanting to make a fuss I ate it. The rest of my party thought the peking duck was small, only about 6 or so pieces for $46.
When the bill came the problem began. The restaurant tried to charge me $25 for the bowl of bok choy. As the waiter had disappeared I requested the senior staff. I explained the situation and instead of discussing it he became rude and aggressive, enticing my friend and I into an argument with about ten of his staff. He ranted on saying I should pay and he has rent and other expenses, and other completely irrelevant arguments.
He then blamed the waiter and would not take responsibility for anything. Some of his staff chimed in and defused the situation and then he tried to barter down the price of the meal, a few dollars at a time. I was incredibly insulted considering the fact a scene was made and he was treating me likea senseless person.
Needless to say, we won't be going back.

Came here on Christmas day last year, we sat in the Sussex Entrance side of the restaurant and there were no carts being pushed around. I was disappointed but soon I tasted the benefits of not choosing off the carts.
Each of the dumplings and dishes ordered seemed to be just made and piping hot. The seafood dumplings were good, but not as good as the ones from the fish market. The chicken feet were really good though. Best I've had in a while.
For dessert we had the coconut and red bean, it wasn’t my kind of dessert though. I wish it came with coconut milk. The Silken Tofu was silky and not grainy (like you might find at some other places), the tofu was nice and warm and had just enough syrup. Finally the egg tarts were just baked and the pastry melted in my mouth. I love it when it has been freshly made.

Been here few times for yum cha, but we went for dinner. The portion was a lot smaller than what I expected but the quality was quite good. We ordered salt and pepper calamari with fried rice and peking duck (2 courses). I had a citibank credit card platinum so we received a complimentary wine over the dinner which we enjoyed. 4 of us had a good time until we saw a bill came out.
The bill was 16 dollars more than we expected.
We could easily overlook but after looking at the bill carefully we've noticed we were charged twice for the steamed rice we ordered. The bill was corrected after I made a complaint but this shouldn't have happened.

This place used to be terrific but is starting to get a little tattered around the edges.

This restaurant is living of tourists, what a rip off, charging $2 for tea. Avoid the full Crispy duck, they charge $78 for a full duck with 12 pancakes, strip off 12 pieces of skin and then take the Duck away to use for the lettuce skins, they bring four lettuce skins and a small bowl of fill. Absolute rip off.
