Laid back atmosphere, very nice. The food is delicious. Bar staff are very friendly apart from very few who are not bother with even a smile. However, aged this pub seems there is something there for everyone. If you wish to enjoy a nice meal, a glass of wine/beer and a friendly quiet chat, best place to go. Keep an eye open for its charm, when presented will blow you away. Will be there with a smile for dinner every week.

Nice place for locals to go. Good meals and bar staff relaxed and friendly. New Mgr Paul seems to have it under control. Certainly needs a huge face lift but keep the atmosphere!

I have never had a bad meal at the Dural Hotel. The food is great, service good and it's great value for money. They even serve a good champagne by the glass. Last night I had a great creamy tomato soup from the specials board for a mere $5.50. Good sized portions, the breads are great. Decor is pretty average but the warm of the log fire adds a certain charm and cosiness. I will keep coming back.

This place needs a major fit out quickly as well as a new bistro chef if you would call him that, I visited there on a rainy day a few weeks ago, this I have to say is the only pub, where you go to escape the rain and you get wetter by being inside, I kid you not there where about 20 buckets placed strategically under holes in the roof. The Food was very very average and the place looked so dirty, I made the mistake by looking up at the roof, which was so dirty, you can see the grime on it, I dared not to look in the kitchen as I passed it.
I suppose its in an old pub and they are doing the best they can, but if you're picky about cleanliness as I am, don't go there, the service also very slow. And for a place of this standard, the prices are way too high. I won't be going back to eat there!!

The food is really great, cooked well and and presented nicely. Worth a visit even if the prices for wine and drinks are on the high side for a pub venue with 70s decor.

A little expensive but great food and as a regular diner and local I have to give it the thumbs up! The only down side (apart from the school yard toilets which are absolutely disgusting!) is the early closures and the bartender who is a total Nazi, who makes 51 patrons down their drinks while he stands over your table at 9:15pm on a Sunday night. This place is prime real estate with so much potential, could be so much more with just a few touches. What a waste!

Unbelievable food. Not what you would expect from a pub at all. The prices seem a little high, most meals push the $20 mark but the food portions, presentation and quality are excellent. Love the chicken sznitchel, kangaroo and garlic bread. Decor is very dated and you order at the register and take a number back to your table. Seems to be family friendly and the log fire is nice during winter. Friday/Saturday you need to get in before 7.00 if you want a table. I think this place is one of the best kept secrets in the hills district.
