Thank you for a very nice dinner. The service was very fast and efficient. I went there for my friends birthday and once we told them so, they quickly put on the birthday song and a beautiful gift. The food was excellent and good value for money. I am a regular customer and I highly recommend everyone to go there for a nice family dinner.

For a place that is called Dumpling Inn we were quite dissappointed at how few dumpling options there were. We ended up mostly ordering a few dishes to have with rice. These dishes were good but nothing to rant and rave about but nothing to complain about either. Its nice for a family occasion.

Thank you John and your wonderful staff for making our family Christmas get together of 25 so enjoyable. The banguet was very good value and good quality food, you and your staff was very accommodating to our needs with our 2 infants and 1 member allergic to peanuts.

My family left your restaurant very full and contented with the food and the service, this is our second year around to you and I am there already for this year, some of my family have returned to eat there on other occasions. Also your lunch time take away meals was great too. Once again thank you.

I have been here multiple times over the years, and I have never been disappointed. Granted I've never had take-away (which seems to be most of the complaints), but the food I have had is always delicious and there is always enough for everyone.

The staff are wonderful, I recently went here for my birthday dinner, they played happy birthday and also gave me a gift once they found out what the occasion was. Very family orientated, but always lovely food and great value.

Takeaway, worst chinese ever spring rolls were burnt, chow mein was just like a pack of 2 minutes noodles, and the pork ribs had no bone felt like I was eating soggy battered fat.

Do not go here for a romantic dinner, least not on a Sat night. I counted twelve kids under three in the room, some howling, some just scampering around. But unlike some other places, at least the parents here did what little they could to control their kids. In the end it made for a boisterous, loud, but not unbearable evening.

The food was well priced and very generous. My lamb in black pepper sause came with lashings of pepper and more lamb than you'd get in two serves at most places. We wanted mixed chinese veges but for some reason they said we could have a plate of choy sum or a plate of chinese broccoli but not a plate of the two mixed. Curious. And our only food disappointment was they had run out of the Hunan Pork Ribs.

The service was quick and friendly despite them being run off their feet. They did forget my sons main completely, but once pointed out they rushed it out with much apology. This is, I think, our third visit here. It is one of few chinese in this district to take the Entertainment Book and as their prices are fair to start with, this can make for a cheap and tasty if not glamorous evening.

Would rate this as one of the very best "suburban" Chinese. Not at fine dining standard, but some really nice surprises with their dishes. Have been there several times and always rated above what I was expecting. Service is very friendly and the prices are good value I think. Definitely my pick for Chinese short of going to the serious standard venues. I recommend them.

The crispy spicy duck with pancakes is not worth the $22 they charge. The portion we received (as part of a delivery) was the size of an average chicken breast and certainly not a half a duck as they claim it to be. The accompanying cucumber and shallots were disappointing requiring us to have to slice them into thinner julienne strips as you'd be accustomed to receiving when ordering crispy duck and pancakes. Overall we were disappointed and would not recommend Dumpling Inn if you're after value for your money.

Wonderful little Chinese restaurant tucked out of the way down an alley on the edge of the main balgowlah strip of shops. It has been there for more than 10 years, during which time I've eaten there twice. Both times I left very satisfied with the food. It's a family friendly restaurant, and the staff are helpful and efficient.

The food was lovely, above average for your standard Chinese take out / eat in place. The crispy duck was exquisite and the rest of the fare was beautiful. The food was quick to appear and we had no problems during our meal. Recommended.

A couple of standouts on the food front that are different from the otherwise standard suburban Chinese offerings. The Hunan pork is a wonderful northern dish that almost always features in our choices. Great value in quiet location, a regular stop for gatherings as it caters easily for larger groups.
