The betel leaf with prawns was delicious along with the zesty scallops for starters. Highly recommend the fall apart beef ribs. Attentive service and well balanced food. Only negative is the noisy Pittwater road.

I love Dragonfly! The food is fantastic and the service is flawless. I live in Parramatta and drive all the way to Collaroy just for the food! It is so worth the drive. booking is important because they are really busy on Fridays and Saturdays. I highly recommend the Barramundi ginger with shitake mushroom and the Pork belly with papaya salad! Yum!

I've lived on the Northern Beaches for over 3 years and have eaten regularly at virtually every decent restaurant up here. I've also travelled throughout Sydney in search of the best food. Trust me, if you want a blummin good Asian feed with a menu that is so tempting you will find it hard to choose what you want to order, then go to Dragonfly.

We went on Boxing Day, there was a huge table of 20 next to us, so our hearts sank, thinking the food would take an eternity. No, it didn't. The staff were excellent, the food was imaginative, it was fresh, it was tasty, the serving sizes were good. Faultless. We won't bother going anywhere else again when we want a great Asian feed. Dragonfly is it.

Great food, and service could not be faulted, constant attention by waitress who was topping up water glasses etc. Soft shell crab was delicious, coconut pannacotta equally yummy. Would definitely recommend!

Not Recommended. the service was terrible. They gave our booking to another couple who walked in off the street. The main course arrived before the entre. They chased us down the street and accused us of not paying when the money was clearly on the table. Never going back.

I have gone to this restaurant quite a few times and enjoyed it every time but after reading the last two reviews and talk of it changing hands we were a little reluctant to go again but decided to go, anyway, the service and food was fantastic as good as it has ever been and the soft shell crab was the best we have had yet. So for those who have heard different I am happy to advise they are definitely back on track.

29/8/2011 - Something has changed at Dragonfly. We have been twice now in the past 2 months and the food has definitely lost its sparkling edge. The Service and the Ambience haven't changed but the whole reason for coming here was the food so now.?

Our first visit to Dragonfly was one of pure expedience about a year ago when we first moved into this area. We have arrived without bookings a few times since and sometimes we get lucky and sometimes we don't. It is a popular place. We were amazed that we could get such imagination and variety, they combine fresh Australian produce with Asian flavour and subtlety.

The food is exquisite and their flexibility surprising eg: you can order one Qld scallop if you want to. We have now tried most things on the menu and still haven't found anything that has disappointed us.

We find the wait staff always very communicative and accommodating. The down side is the location. The restaurant sits right on the six lane Pittwater Road with about half their tables located outside, so the passing traffic is noisy. So Dragonfly isn't a place where we sit and linger and chat but it is excellent food and it is definitely one of our favourites.

The service at this restaurant is terrible one of the lady's that work there was very pushy and trying to get my partner and I to order the food on the special menu. She kept saying you have to try this fish special it's very good and so we did. I thought it was expensive and it's not value for money. The fish was smelly and didn't seem to be fresh.
