Mains came out before entrees and most of it pretty stodgy. Some tacos ok but overall give it a miss.

I was dining alone and was seated next to the very busy doorway. I ordered the Tacos and although they were delivered to me very quickly it was not a very nice meal. The tacos were leaking orange coloured oil, the filling was lukewarm and the beans were almost icy. Not a meal to enjoy eating and I will not return.

Love this place. Food is superb and the Chipotle Sauce is a must for any real chilli lovers. Just about everything on the menu tastes great and the prices are very reasonable. Finally, real mexican in the suburbs.
Only downside is the service and the tight seating. They've tried to cram too many seats into a tiny area. Wait staff seem fairly uninterested in service, it was hard to get their attention, even when they were standing around doing nothing.

The food was superb and authentic. The tortilla bread is divine, not sure what's on it but it's crusty yet buttery and absolutely beautiful. Servings are massive as they give you corn chips and salsa before your main. We ordered too much and could, therefore, not eat it all.
Service is ok and could be improved but it was a very busy saturday night so it was understandable. We had fajitas and the tacos but the servings were massive. I think they should fix the place up a bit more. It was authentic looking but more on the drabby side. We say right near the front door with a busy victoria road and noise of customers it was hard to hear what we were saying. Other than that excellent.

Terrible Terrible Terrible. Perhaps, "authentic" Mexican food is not for me. Uninteresting and stodgy.
Service was terrible. Main courses brought to the table only minutes after entrees. I mean our entrees were untouched. Waiter couldn't understand our problem. Large servings but most of ours went into the bin.
The obvious conclusion is, if this authentic Mexican food (as Dos Senoritas claim) then better not to eat Mexican! I couldn't possibly recommend this place to anyone.

Went on a busy Saturday. This restaurant is definitely for large groups, not an intimate dinner. The wait staff did well in getting meals out quickly. Dishes were large, flavours were good but what left a bad taste in our mouth was we got charged $5 for side of cheese. (which was in fact a pinch of cheese). Can't see me visiting this restaurant again in hurry.

Edited review: I went back tonight and found a dead grasshopper in my food. It was cooked in the rice. I won't be going back! Disregard my original review below. It's pity, the food tasted good, but obviously this place isn't clean.
The food here is great! Really tasty fresh Mexican food in big serves. The food comes out quickly, although the service is a little all over the place. The only gripe is the price. We've been many times since they opened and the prices have increased at least three times in the short time they've been opened! It's no longer a cheap place to eat. But the food keeps on bringing us back.

I tried this restaurant due to the favourable reviews here and the fact that Mexican restaurants in Sydney are mostly disappointing. We went on a Saturday night and we were lucky to secure the last table, so I suggest you book ahead.
When we arrived at the entrance the waitress said hello (all wait staff here have accents so I think they may all be backpackers) and then walked away!
This was a strange way to start, however, this pretty much summed up the service throughout the evening here. It was disorganised. There were around 4 table staff here and there are not that many more tables in this tiny restaurant. So its one of those places where the staff seem to think that someone else has taken the order, picked up the empty glass etc etc. With no one seemingly in charge and all of the staff hanging around close to the kitchen area, the place seems a bit unfriendly.
The ambience is due to the noise of the diners rather than from any effort made by the people who are hired here to work. It is a real shame. Anyway, thankfully the food here is very flavoursome.
When we were finally sat down we were given a plate of spicy salsa dip and corn chips. This was so huge we decided not to order an entree! It was very good though.
For mains we ordered from the chef's recommendations (all $29 each) - Chicken mole and a Mexican steak, which we think was marinated in tequila. Both of these were served in a very rustic manner (no finesse just dumped on the plate basically) but both meals were delicious.
I loved the delicate flavours and the right level of herb and spices. Thankfully neither dish was smothered in cheese either, instead you receive lashings of fresh avocado, mexican rice and bean salad. Its really nice home made food.
Unfortunately, the serving size of the mains was so huge that we both had to skip any dessert, which was disappointing as the flan sounded yummy. So next time if I just have an entree only maybe I could have a dessert?
My husband had a Mexican Bohemia beer (nice to have something on offer other than a corona) and I had a Jamaica hibiscus drink served in a plastic cup with a straw (the drink was nice but what about a glass?). Most patrons were ordering the magaritas.
I will definitely return again for the yummy food. This place is recommended for big big hungry eaters or people who want to taste something cooked by a Mexican chef.

Great food and quick service. I had a gringo burro and ended up taking most of it home. The portion sizes will not disappoint.
