Not a huge fan of bun bo hue (especially in 30 degree heat), however, my mrs can eat it in any weather. I ordered the stuffed chicken wings which were really tasty, and a iced coffee (viet-style). The dishes were served promptly and tasted great, no fuss. We come here a lot, and it always satisfies.

Great in terms of value, but I am more interested in refined quality rather than how big the bowl my noodles come in.

Yes you get a lot of salad, noodles and meat but I found the pho broth to be quite crude in flavour and the meat was not that high quality melt in your mouth scotch/eye fillet other places use, instead it was some tough chewy cheap cut of steak which wasn't sliced thinly enough to be cooked by the pho broth.

Value hunters will adore this place, but those who appreciate the revitilising phenomenon that only comes from good quality pho will probably not appreciate what is served up here as it is just not up to scratch in terms of flavour.

Famous for their "Bun Bo Hue" and that's about it, everything else on the menu is rather bland. Service is quick and responsive. The place could do with a renovation.

Dong Ba bbq chicken is the best hands down. The bbq chicken here is unbelievable I even bring my aussie friend who hates taking a risk on new food but he loved the chicken and the value. For 8 bux we got bbq chicken bit of vegies, rice, tea and soup. You will not find a better bbq chicken for 8 bux!

It’s cheap but it’s the only Vietnamese place where my pork with noodles, the pork slices had bones in them!! I’m not talking about pork chops by the way. This really reduced the enjoyment of the food. Service though is fast and the food cheap. With so much competition around them, I believe they survive by the service and the price of there food!!

I had some takeaway bun bo hue (a beef noodle soup) from here. The dish was great, spoiled only by shredded lettuce in the accompanying fresh vegetable mix that was rotted in parts and had obviously been sitting around for some time. Still, $8 odd dollars for the enormous serving is outstandingly good value. Service too was fast and helpful.

Value is well worth it. Service wasn't really good - had to wait more than 20 minutes for a combination broken rice dish and they didn't show any indication that they'd noticed they'd brought it out late (the restaurant wasn't even busy that day). Probably won't go again - prefer its branch store.

The food is great. Although the ambience is not that great, it's better than most of the other Vietnamese restaurants. The service isn't so bad either, although a smile or a cheery face wouldn't hurt. Value's good, very cheap and worth it.
