My family and I stayed at the Novotel last weekend and we decided to eat in the restaurant. It was a wonderful experience. The food was out of the world. I definitely recommend the rib eye steak and the service was just as good. Happy to recommend.

This is our 3rd time back and each time, we enjoyed the view, the meals and the service. This time round, we were specially look after by a waiter with a good sense of humour and even my teens were impressed by their service. All their entree is very small, so next time. I shall go straight to mains instead. EG. only 3 scallops for entree is a bit too little and too much to pay for. Overall, great place to dine with family.

Nice restaurant, lovely view, but I will not return. I ordered some bread as a light entrée and the rest of my party were served their meal and I had to pull over the waiter and ask where is mine. She pointed over to the other end of the table (about 10 of us) as it was just left in front of other people and they thought it was part of their soup. I asked if she could bring me some fresh bread as they had helped themselves to it and did so but did not seem happy.
Our mains came out and I ordered a salad with my Fish and Chips. Well the salad did not arrive either and after I finished my meal I asked where was my salad. She pointed to the other end of the table as it had been served to someone else. I did not need to ask this time as she got it for me. The fish and chips were very nice. The bread needed some butter with it. The salad was way too oily and far too plain. The meal was over priced.

I had a free lunch here when I went here for my Novotel Darling Harbour job induction and the food was fine and so was the view.

Booked a table for 2 a few weeks in Advance. When we arrived they did not have my booking which was disappointing, although she gladly put us at a window seat which was great. I ordered a Fish on a bed of noodles whilst my partner ordered a chicken dish. Last time we ate at "Dish" Our meals were quite large portions. This time round our meals were extremely small. We were quite disappointed as we ordered mains and they were just so small.
Apart from the meal tasting great but being to small the view is excellent! There were fireworks on in the Harbour and we had front row seats whilst eating our dinner which was a nice surprise! The Staff are very friendly as well! I would recommend if you would like a nice romantic night out but be prepared for small servings.

Very disappointing. We had booked a table at Dish the same night that a flight had been cancelled, due to the extra people staying in the hotel and now wanting to dine there, staff were understandably a little flustered, however, we still would not expect the following:
1. After 30 minutes, we had to ASK for our bread.
2. After 1 hour, we had to ASK for our entrees, only to be told that they were not ready, however, our mains were so would we accept a free dessert instead? We did not as neither of us eats dessert.
3. We had to settle on a bottle of wine, after choosing 3 that were out of stock.
4. After 2 hours, we had to ASK for our main course.
We were given 50% off the food bill which was a good gesture, however, not one manager came to apologise for the situation. It was totally unprofessional to leave it to the waiter. On another note, waiters were physically running around, the menus were terribly presented and the room reminiscent of a school hall. On a positive note, the food was good. I would not recommend this over-priced restaurant. I'd rather pay an extra few dollars for somewhere with class, ambiance and excellent service.

The good things:
- I booked this restaurant for a special romantic dinner and was pleased that they gave us a table by the window as requested.
- the view over Darling Harbour is nice when it's dark and the skyline is lit up.
The bad:
- The service - it took quite a while for our drinks to be brought to us and it was 50 minutes before we received our entrees. We had to go a show afterwards and had given ourselves 2 hours for dinner, but in the end we had to scoff down the main and cancel dessert because it took so long for our meal to arrive. To the waiter's credit, he was very apologetic, but it did ruin what was supposed to be a special occasion.
The food itself was reasonably nice, but you can get far better food at other restaurants in this price range. It wasn't something I would rave about and recommend to others.

Had my brother in law's birthday here. We had a group of 10. Meals were excellent, price was good for where and what you have. Waiter we had was excellent all night. Nice place with a very nice view and food to match.
