After biting into one of the dumplings I ordered that claim to be "pork and chives" all I could see and taste were chives. I asked the one of staff if they sent me the wrong dish and she replied that there is only about 1% pork! One percent! what a joke! nonetheless the prawn and pork dumplings are very tasty but everything else we ordered like the noodles were mediocre.

Delicious food, prompt service. Not a place to linger for conversation though. But I didn't expect that. Would go again for the yummy dumplings.

I recently dined here for the first time with my partner who is a much bigger fan of the cuisine than I am. On first impression this looks like any other yum cha restaurant, tables packed so close together 2 other ppl have to get up for you to sit down.
Menu comes an adequate description of dishes for the uninitiated (such as myself) as well as pictures. Once you've ordered the efficiency in delivery of the food is very high, within 5-10 minutes food was on our table (as you'd expect in a yum cha themed restaurant). The food was prepared well, and as all previous reviewers have said, the dumplings with a hot soup inside and ginger/soy dipping sauce is worth trying. The mains were also decently sized, again considering the cuisine, and flavoursome, though I prefer more spice.
The two things to fault them on are one the service, a victim of their own success, with the speed of the dishes delivered, we hadn't finished the last one before the next one arrived, and with table space at a premium at this place, and the waiters unable to manage the space properly, it became a case of "finish quickly so I can put it down".
The value is also not great, this type of food is not uncommon so the prices seemed slightly high, esp considering the amount served. In summary, an ok place to try once, even if you're not a die hard fan of yum cha.

Seated quickly on a Sunday evening for late dinner, our food did not take too long to arrive after it was ordered. The steamed pork dumplings were just right. Lovely casing, just enough broth in the dumpling and the pork was tasty. Steamed Vegetables and Pork Du had just the right balance of vegetables and pork for subtle pork taste.
Steamed crab meat and pork dumpling was our least favourite, although it was of the same quality of the pork dumpling. We just didn't really fancy the crab meat inside. Pork and glutinous rice shao-m was quite good too. Chinese tea had a nice jasmine scent coming from it and the lychee mint juice was good too.
Our dumplings did not arrive at the same time, the service was perfectly timed. As we were halfway through one tray, the next would come out. Did not have to wait very long at all. Slightly pricier than other dumpling restaurants though.

I enjoy the near perfect dumplings and the consistently friendly service. I take people here frequently and have never been disappointed.

I've visited the DTF's in Singapore and was very happy to find Sydney of at least the same standard - so now I can indulge in my xiao long bao addiction closer to home! These are really fabulous here and we also enjoyed the wanton noodle soup and greens with garlic. This was the first experience for my husband and he thought it was fantastic as well. Next time (there will indeed be a next time) we will try something in spicy sauce. These are the rolls royce of dumplings!

Great dumplings and consistent product! the menu has plenty of other choices as well, great place to try out new dishes. They also have some quirky drinks (avocado juice and mint lychee juice!). No doubt the dumplings are a bit expensive ($ 10 for a plate of 8 pork dumplings) but worth it. Might have to wait for a table in busy periods!

Terrible service, can't speak English properly and when asked for another round of tea, did not bring it until after second request and that was, half an hour later. Very disappointing. However, they have nice xiao long bao, the only dish worth eating there.
