We had previously been to the restaurant and were slightly disappointed and could not see what the hype was about. But we decided to try here anyway and it was good! The line was a bit long but moved very fast and food was ready in about 5 minutes.

Shrimp and pork wonton soup, very tasty and fresh and at $11 a pretty healthy price. Would probably prefer the faster no wait service here than their restaurant down the road.

A pretty expensive place but with delectable xiao long baos. The xiao long baos are a must have along with the cute prepackaged soybean drink. Overall a decent place ambience and service wise.

The dumplings are certainly good, but I found them quite pricey considering they only come four per serve. We ordered the braised beef soup and whilst it was very tasty, it was disappointing to only have three pieces of beef floating in the soup. Overall, I think there is much better value to be had at other dumpling restaurants about town.

Went to Din Tai Fung dumpling bar today. In conclusion, the worst restaurant service I have ever received! Used 30 dollar notes to pay for 21 bucks food. The waitress gave me 18 silver coins for 9 dollar change. I have asked her if I could give her 1 dollar and get 10 dollar note back. No, As a cash only store, they didn't have gold coin nor 10 dollar note.

The thai waitress has even said "Why don't you order more food so we don't have to worry about change more". As for the food, dumpling is okay, noodles are way over-cooked. This express bar is nothing compared to the Din Tai Fung in World Square. Big disappointment!
