My boyfriend's pancakes tasted a bit like they were made from a packet, apparently, but my fruit crumble was good, the prices were a bit steep though. Service was really friendly and accommodating, and it was perfect for a Sunday brunch, relaxed atmosphere, nice decor and lots of free newspapers/magazines to read.
Love this place. You can get your usual fix of bacon and eggs or you can lash out and try some of the more inventive offers. The parmesan and potato pancake is divine and fills you up for the whole day. Staff are friendly and helpful and the owner really cares about his patrons.
Digikaf has by far the best breakfast menu in the area (if not Sydney) especially for the price. Really unusual dishes mixed with enormous servings, great coffee and friendly staff. Never been disappointed and highly recommend a visit.
My weekends are not complete without a visit to Digi.Kaf. Yummy and unique breakfast food, a buzzing atmosphere, and friendly service keep me coming back. My latest favourites are the breakfast quesadilla, potato and cheese pancakes, and green eggs and ham (beautiful scrambled eggs mixed through with basil pesto and prosciutto on sourdough). Plus, Paul and his team give diners coffee vouchers for future visits, which makes for excellent value.
This place has one of the best breakfast menus around; Lots of choice and generous serves. The staff are really efficient and the meals are exactly as promised. A great place to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday morning.
Eat here all the time. Good mix of tables, benches and couches, I sometimes eat alone or meet friends for breakie or lunch. The atmosphere is cozy and has a distinct modern retro feel. The front area is your traditonal cafe with a large bench running down one wall where groups can sit in comfort at polished wooden tables. Up the back is where the computers are, with more tables couches and bench seating. The long benches are great when you are alone and want to spread out with the papers. Out door seating is also available and at times seems very pooch friendly to!
The food is always very fresh and reasonably priced when considering the quality and speed with which the meals arrive. The service is always prompt and efficent without being in your face. The coffee and other beverages are of the same high quality.
Internet access is free including WiFi when you join the club, you also get 10% off your bill when presenting your key ring. I study at Sydney uni and quite often bring in my laptop in to do research with, which gets me off campus. The Wifi is super fast and I sometimes use it to make calls over skype. I love that this is a real cafe with chef prepared food and designed for us computer toting geeks. The music is also cool, apparently they stream it off the internet.
It can get busy at times and has a real buzz and welcoming feel. I see the same people here time and time again which must say something about the place. Can't recommend digi.kaf enough.
Digi.Kaf in one word: over-priced. DK is a simple cafe which serves breakfast. The layout is a coffee shop design and does not really promote comfy meal consumption. There were only about 4 tables in the entire cafe and a huge L shaped counter top along the back wall which really promoted a sense of anti-socialness, you had to sit there and face the wall while you ate. The seats were made of basket weave and were not comfortable.
The food was a basic breakfast menu but the potato cheese pancakes were great! The food was out in a flash and the service was good. I had 2 potato cheese pancakes, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs and 1 glass of oj for a total of $26.10, way overpriced considering this wasn't some upscale restaurant with a gourmet menu and designer atmosphere; we're talking old couches with bacon and eggs people!!! To add insult to injury, the internet that I thought was free, wasn't and checking my email, cost me $2 extra dollars, for a grand total of $28.10. I don't know how soon I'll be back at the digi.kaf but I'll be sure to rob a bank before I get there.
I love digi.kaf! They have a superb breakfast menu which is unique and so, so tasty. I can't go past the potato and cheese pancakes but my dining partners always rave about their meal of choice as well. The staff are incredibly friendly and there are plenty of cosy tables. My weekends are now not complete without stopping in to digi.kaf at least once. Highly recommended!
