Lovely cafe with great vibe. However, it is always busy.
The service is great, however, I was a little disappointed with my potato stack, it was flavourless and not quite what I was expecting. However, I did have the corn fritters there a little while ago and they were delicious.
One of the staff members did ask about our meal and thanked me for my comments about the potato stack. He said that they encourage feedback as they want to get it right, Great attitude!
However, it isn't a cheap breafkast.

Just tried this place for breakfast after a recommendation from a friend. Wow!
The place is nice and laid back, we were seated straight away and drinks offered while we looked at the menu. There is heaps here to keep everyone happy.
I ordered the Kofta Tabriz and the wife ordered the Corn Fritters. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and only too happy to offer suggestions. The meals arrived quickly and looked and smelled fantastic, and they lived up to the initial impression! Mine was hearty and well flavoured, the hommus was very good. The wife said the Corn Fritters were as good as "Bill's" (High praise indeed!).
The coffee was excellent and the fresh juices we ordered were just that, very fresh and enjoyable. At not quite $50 for the two of us it's not a cheap breakfast, however, the great service, fantastic food and Free coffee cards for next visit will get us back to try the other great looking meals on the menu.
A winner, and sure to become a regular haunt! Highly recommended!

Firstly, a little about myself. I very seldom post review, and consider myself a very considerate and tolerant person. Let me paint a picture of my experience. It is 3:15 pm on Monday afternoon, the shop is empty apart from 2 tables, 1 occupied by a couple and another by an individual. I bought a small and large coffee in take away cups for $6.90 and thought I would just sit down and drink it. I was rudely told that I need to pay an extra $2.00 or leave as it cost an extra $2.00 to sit at a table. I was not quick enough I should have knocked my cup over on the way out, it was terrible coffee as well.
If you are not the owner, you should be retrained in customer service, if you are the owner you should learn some manners, with that level of customer service and attitude, your business is destine to fail.

Anyone who knows Glebe knows whats great little spot it is Sydney for food. There are so many possibilites for breakfast, lunch and dinners with a range that covers most cuisines and makes it very hard to choose the favorites.
Digikaf is a typical little Glebesque noshspot. It offers a breakfast range with a bit more diversity than the norm. What attracted us some years ago was the mexi brekky and breakfast quesadillas. Pretty nice, one might say and ticked all boxes.
However, a few recent trips to Digikaf has had to change ones opinion. The menu is mostly the same, but the price is going up and the portion size is going down. I would recommend it now to models on a starve diet or if you fancy a quick nibble but don't hold out to leave this place full unless you order 2-3 meals.
What is a big disappointment is the cost, it just does not equate to the food, almost $20 for one weeny quesadilla and bit of salad. If you want an additional piece of bacon, that will be almost $5 please ..eeek! sorry, slowly getting ripped off.
The omm.com omelette turned out to be pretty good but again, totally overpriced, its only eggs. Additional chorizo, should you care to have it, will cost you another $8ish, we chose not to. Ambience is nice, very chilled but the noise level is somewhat amplified by the concrete walls. The coffee, well it depends what you like. If you like it bitter burnt with an aftertaste that lasts for days, this is the place for you. The guys and girls who serve are in general lovely and attentive but one was grumpy and abrupt with customers and other wait staff alike.
Overall, the food is pretty good but given the local competition for breakfast and consideration of the package of food, ambience, service and value, it would no longer be in the top 5 glebe.
Although, it has received some good food awards recently, it appears that maybe this little spot is suffering from award ego. Sorry, it just doesn't cut it any more.

Been here often, but today was the most disappointing one. We had potato pancakes with bacon and pancakes with berries. The potato ones had a little decoration of sour cream and sprinkled herbs. It was so dry, I had to ask for some sour cream to get them down my throat. The sweet version with berries did not have the advertised butter and maple syrup. Our large fresh juice was so small and just full of pulp that it was hardly a sip worth. Expected more for 7$. The large cappuccino was served in a tall glass and also just half full. The prices are so high. I expect better quality and quantity for that. Digi.kaf is off my list!
Response from Management:
I am very sorry to read that you were disappointed with your meals on your recent visit.
The potato pancakes are a drier dish and it appears that insufficient sour cream was delivered with the meal in the first instance, I am pleased that more was bought to you at your request. With the Berry Pancakes we sub the butter and syrup with the ice-cream and berries, if you had wanted both you only needed to let us know and both would have been provided, I am sorry for this confusion.

I am curious as to why you didn't send the juice back, as it is our policy to ensure you are satisfied with your selections.
You have not mentioned what was wrong with the service to only rate a 6 and as for the ambience,(4) I am also at a loss to understand. I would welcome any specific issues you may have with the service or ambience.
At this point I cannot fix the problems you encountered I can only apologise for your poor experience.

Should you decide to give us another go and something is not as you expect please bring it to either my staffs' or my attention, at the time, where I am sure a satisfactory outcome could be reached.
Thank you for taking the time to provide valuable feed back.

I'm a big fan of the mexican themed breakfasts. It's a bit expensive but the coffee cards make up for that. And the relish.. Oh the relish. I could just eat it with a spoon. In fact this morning I did just that.

I've been enjoying breakfast here for the last five years. Always consistently excellent. An imaginative menu with breakfast basics you can't find anywhere else in Sydney. The owner can be a little stiff but its worth a visit for the eggs benedict on potato rosti or the green eggs and ham. Congratulations on the good food award too. Well done guy's.

Away from the busy streets, this is a nice little tucked away place. It was very packed when we got there and the staff tried their best to find us a spot. Good coffee and yummy breakfast. We all received a free coffee coupon for next time which was nice. Looking forward to going back.

Just tried this place for breakfast last weekend and was pleasantly surprised, it is nothing to look at and not in a groovy location but ticks all the boxes when it matters most, food and coffee.
I went a bit crazy and had the kofta tabriz, a lebanese (I guess) inspired dish that was one of the best things I have picked for brekky in a long time. Mix of capsicum, onions, beans, mince, big slab of toast and 2 poached eggs (side of mushrooms) - sensational. Wifey had ham benedict and loved it too. Coffee was excellent and the fruit whip was light and refreshing.
Few points off for the noise (too much concrete) and prices were right up there. But service was terrific, friendly and will definitely come back.
