Great food. Cool setting. Ridiculously rude, almost angry service. Get a grip guys drop the attitude and let the service match the food. Won't be back there in a hurry.

Bondi needs more places like this!

A hole in the wall on Glenayre avenue, this lovely little wine bar is showing how it should be done. From the boutique list of local and international wines, the amazing modern french menu, and the fun shabby chic decor.

For the wine we started on the Italian Rosato Procceco, which was light, crisp and dry with a hint of strawberry and lemongrass. To follow we moved onto the Margaret River Chardonnay, for the price hands down the best Chardonnay we've ever had! To finish the Nero D'Avola, a Spicy Sicilian grape, and in this case well balanced and fairly long on the palate for this varietal.

With a French man in the kitchen you could be mistaken for thinking you're in Paris! The food is amazing! We were recommended by our lovely waiter Sean, to try the Charcuterie Platter which comes overloaded with Anise infused Duck Liver Pate, Jamon, Prociutto, French Salami, and piccalilli. Then we shared the ceviche of Scallop which was served with pomegranate, lime and mint. A taste sensation!

Then the chefs specialty of Yamba prawns flambed with ricard, and chilli, you can understand why this is the chefs specialty. And to finish the Confit of Duck, you can definitely see the 10 hours work that goes into this dish, from the marinating of the duck for a period of 5 hours to the slow braising for a period of 4.5 hours, then pan frying to get the crispy skinned finish. All served with a crisp salad and poached egg, perfectly executed dish.

The service is casual and fun, if you're lucky enough to get our waiter Sean you are sure to have a great night! Well done and we will see you again soon!

Always packed with coolie-dudies on a weekend, so I thought I'd give it a try when invited by friends. Nice ambience of an evening, the service was oh-so Bondi, you know, the barista/musician/model type of 'tude. Some really interesting concepts on the menu, and some nice wines, but the share-style servings were sadly on the meagre side and I needed to smash a kebab from good old Zinzana over the road, even after dropping a cuppla hundred. Might drop back for a piece of toast or a coffee, but might head somewhere a bit more established for din-dins. Fun, but certainly room for improvement.

I had never been to Deli Bottega until a Sunday afternoon when we walked passed and stopped as they happened to be playing my favourite tune! Decided to have a glass on wine and a cheese plate... Had the most beautiful bottle of Italian wine (host's favourite) and an amazing cheese plate (and I am picky when it comes to cheese). Went back on a Wednesday night for dinner - had a mixture of food - French onion soup, bruschetta, cauliflower souffle and salmon. It all was amazing! I cannot wait to get back for more taste sensation. Thank you so much for adding a touch of class to Bondi.

Food used to be good but is now excellent, high value and a bit of sparkle in the middle of the other Bondi restaurants. Night menu is outstanding.

This place really is awful. The food is Ok but the staff here are really terrible. It's not just a case of poor service, they are down right rude. Plenty of much better places within a stone's throw of this place.

I came here last weekend with a companion. We had a bite to eat in the restaurant and a few glasses of wine, and decided to order one of their hampers to take away. My review is a little undecided therefore - the food and wine in - house was terrific and well priced I thought. My only suggestion here is that an extra person serving would be good to speed proceedings up a little. The hamper though, was disappointing. The actual contents of it were pretty meagre (compared to the serving in the restaurant which I thought was very generous) and didn't seem to completely match the advertised content. So, in short, I'll definitely return for the in-house experience, but I hope the hampers improve.

Deli Bottega tries a bit hard. Won't let you order lunch before 1pm on the weekend, which is a bit ridiculous when it's 12:55 pm. And having made you order breakfast they then make you wait 20 minutes, and then get the order wrong. Oh dear. Whole place seems a bit 'precious'. Probably best to go to skinny dip cafe around the corner instead. Better food, better value, better service, and dare I say it, cooler crowd too.

Definitely my favourite place to eat in Bondi! Food is excellent, especially lunchtime salads. Great coffee too!
