    Food was lovely, service was great and it was nice to meet the chef. The only negative thing I would have to say is the meals need to be slightly bigger and the wine list needs improvement on value and selection, other than that I do recommend it highly.

    Rather ordinary - we ordered a bunch of tapas, and there really was very little that stood out. The olive oil that came with the bread was very bland - for the price I was expecting at least a nice peppery extra virgin, but this tasted like Coles own-brand cheapo olive oil. The prawns were very ordinary, and there was only about 8 of them (along with some more bland oil and herbs) in a dish costing $13. The anchovies were good, with a delicate flavour, but it was the only dish that really did the business.

    Make sure you BYO. The wine list is practically non-existent, and very over-priced ($32 for a Secret Stone SB). Perhaps they realise that with a bottlo over the road the wine list is a bit redundant! The service wasn't bad, and we had a nice evening but we won't be going back.

    Unfortunately, we had a pretty ordinary meal here. We had three tapas entrees. The salted cod was pretty good but the other 2 dishes were ordinary (and luke warm). The main course, I didn't think the seafood paella wasn't too bad (my wife was a little more critical). The smoked mackerel nicoise salad special was small and nothing special.

    Some of the wine (by the glass ,the shiraz and cabernet sauvignon) was shocking, it tasted like it was off. Whether that was because it had been open too long or was poorly cellared, I don't know. (The merlot was ok). It also was quite overpriced, around $125 for 2 for 3 tapas dishes and 2 main courses. I think it's pitching itself at a gourmet level, but the food doesn't measure up to this. Still, it's only been open 2 months, so hopefully will improve. Le Sangria in Balmain is much better food and value.
