Everything we ordered tasted the same, I had to add hot chilli sauce to one dish to give it some variety. Tacky non-authentic atmosphere something you would expect at a daggy RSL club. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

We often use this restaurant for eat in or take away. They are always fresh and good portions, reasonable and worth to pay few more dollars rather than getting fake chinese food from other take away shops. Of course it is a few dollars more expensive each dishes than those take away shop but this restaurant is still much cheaper than most restaurants and offer much bigger portion with better quality. It is highly recommended and best in local.

The food is excellent! We've been to this restaurant at least 10 times a year for around 5 years now. We always come to this restaurant for everyones birthday.

The service is very friendly, a great family owns and serves in the restaurant and they are lovely people. Make sure to always be clear with what you would like! as mistakes can happen especially when they are busy!

Sometimes it can be a little slow because so many people go there but its worth the wait. They serve the food to your plate! The service impersonates that of a real black tie fancy restaurant. The main courses are left for you to get for yourself but they serve a bowl of rice to you to begin with.

I suggest the mixed entree to start with san chow bow served straight after and for one main boiled rice with mongolian chicken or lamb, the vegetables are fresh and the seafood dishes are exquisite depending on what you order but you must remember it is a chinese restaurant that specialises in chinese with a few thai influences, so best to order a chinese dish in the sub meat categories :D.

Out of all the chinese restaurants on the northern beaches I must disagree with the person below, the food is Far from oily, its freshly cooked and drained and the main dishes have succulent meat caramalised or crispy and delicious just the way it is served in china. And the price is just right even home delivery prices are great for the quality of the food and the taste! There are many more expensive places around the northern beaches that are way below par, all in all I believe dee why chinese restaurant is undercharging for the amount and quality of food :D its excellent!

You will have a fantastic experience dining there, for a first time I suggest mid week to enjoy the full experience and treasures of the restaurant.

Took family here for dinner and wasn't very pleased, food was bland and oily. Seafood didn't taste very fresh. Service was just ok not to many smiles to be had.
Not a great experience and was quite expensive. Service was a little slow. Overall won't be going back.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years. I love it and so do all my family and friends! The sweet and sour pork is delicious! Well done! Keep up the good work!

I have to admit that I have never actually eaten in here, however, my family orders take away from here every friday night and are yet to be disappointed. We normally get the budget deals which include 3 mains, large fried rice and 2 entrees for around $35. Amazing.
