I go there often on weekdays, excellent service together with coffee, sandwiches and sweets. Owner goes out of his way to please. The place has a very relaxed atmosphere if you want to unwind.

Went there several times, beaut cafe with friendly staff and great sandwiches and coffee, definitely going there again, highly recommend it.

Cute location and nice courtyard. The food choices are not extensive, more or less sanwiches and cakes. Coffee is delicious and staff are friendly, though there is no table service. Value is pretty good, sandwich a coffee and a biscuit for under $15.

The staff were completely oblivious to who ordered what and they didn't seem to care when we corrected them. Food and the range of choice was lousy and the coffee was also awful. Don't bother going in. Try the cafe a few shops down the road, looks better.

Don't go here unless you are one of the senior staff's mates. He spends so much time chatting with them at the counter that you wait at least five minutes to place an order. You feel that you are imposing on his time just to place an order.
Waited 15 minutes for a coffee that was never going to come. The staff could see that I had not been served and still walked past. Asked for a refund and left.
This is not an isolated incident, staff are completely indifferent to attracting new customers.

The service is so bad (rude/arrogant) at Decolata that I can't ever bring myself to return again. There are so many other better cafes in the area to consider anyway.

Walked in at 3 pm on a Wednesday afternoon. We were the only patrons in the whole cafe seated right next to the counter, yet we still had to physically get up and stand right up to the counter to place our order. Not one of the three wait staff standing around bothered to come to us to take our order. I ordered an earl grey tea which was really weak.

I asked if they had Equal sugar and the senior staff came over with the tablet version and instead of just handing me the Equal to have on our table he asked "How many would you like?" I said "One please" which he put into my tea then asked "Are you sure that's enough?" and I said "Well, ok give me another one then" but then he just whisked away with the bottle. Did he think I might walk away with it? It would have been more polite to just leave it on our table.

Can't comment on the food so I scored it a 5 based on what friends have told me. Ambience scores a 6 as the decor is nice but some music would have been good.
This was my first time at Decolata (only because Cafe Plunge was full) and this will be my last. Tea was way too weak and service was just too inattentive for my liking.
