Hi All, my experience at Dannys was good, I had the calamari fritty and it was very nice, my friend had a chicken risotto and she said it was lovely and tasty. My advice? Form your own opinion!

Ordered a veal dish. Portion was tiny, came with a few slices if carrot, some broccoli and a tasteless potato croquet. Companion's chicken dish was so dry he sent it back. Will never come back.

I would like to thank Danny for an awesome night, I celebrated my Hen's party with 18 of my friends and we had a great night. Danny you are really nice, we were a bit noisy but Danny thought it was great that we were having such a good time. The food was delicious and the service was great. I highly recomend this restaurant for a great night out!

Don't go here, the manager (or whoever) abused us before we even rec'd our food. I have never been treated so rudely in my life, how can people like this run a business? We had a voucher and was told it was full on the evening that we wanted, walked pass to find the place empty - long story short. The service is shocking, abusive and irrational. I wouldn't go there if I was paid!

Both times I have been to this restaurant I have had terrible service and not just unhelpful but quite aggressive. Assuming Danny is the gentleman that works behind the counter, I would have hoped to lead by example and offer customer service as I for one will never be coming back.

Awful pizza. Squishy, uncooked, sent back to be baked over then came
back burned and inedible. Worst pizza experience in a long time.

I’ve never had such rude service at a restaurant in my life. The owner or manager or whoever it was acted hostile toward my group as soon as we walked in, like he didn’t want us to be there. I don’t know why. Anyway he just ignored us after we sat down and wouldn’t respond to our attempts to get his attention. We ended up waiting for twenty minutes before our order got taken and the place was half empty.

I had the calamari fritters and Romana pizza and they were both pretty bland and stodgy. Overall my friends weren’t that impressed with their food either, though my boyfriend liked his gladiator pizza. The worst part was the service though. I don’t get why someone would open a restaurant just to act resentful to his customers, but since he obviously doesn’t want any customers I’ll do him a favour and never go back there!

I went on a relatively quiet Wednesday night.

The man serving us was very calm and cool, maybe describe as impassive. I really enjoyed that in my waiter, he served us politely and was quick to see when we needed his assistance.

The place is simple and nice. Artworks for sale on the wall. Basic red theme going through the decor. I ordered a chicken caesar and calamari fritters. Loved the salads that went with both of them.

As for mains, ordered too much, had the fettuccini carbonara and their special a la chef penne. Really nice apricot chicken that went with the penne. As for the carbonara, plenty of flavour and lots of sauce, you just have to sort of push the sauce to the side a bit because there is too much of it, they certainly didn't shirk on the bacon either. Probably equal amounts of bacon to fettuccini.

Anyway, this place is good value for money, lunch time deals are only $10 for pasta and drink. And if you order two entrees and one main, that should be plenty for 2 people.
