This evening was the worst meal in ages. Very unwelcoming. Service slow. Food no connection with Greece! Will never go again or recommend to anyone.

A nice clean restaurant with an extensive Greek menu. It was a quiet Sunday night so not busy but we would go back again for sure. Its not special but probably good for a large group.

It is not often that I am very disappointed but this is one such occasion.

We went for the 7 course degustation through one of the deal sites and frankly, it was a mistake at $60, or even if it had have been $40. I thought the idea was that it was meant to be a bargain!

We turned up at 8pm on Saturday night. It's a large and well located restaurant and the setting is well above average. When we got to the restaurant there was greek dancing which was great, but of the 40 tables on offer, only 2 others were taken. So it seemed a little misplaced. I've given the ambience a 9 for what it could have been with a few more tables taken.

Now to the dinner. You would expect with a 7 course degustation that you would get a good mix of traditional Greek food. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I can't believe a bowl of olives by themselves counts as a dish! It would have been good if the waitress had have taken us through the degustation menu (so if there was something we couldn't eat it could have been replaced) or at the very least, for a menu to have been presented to us so we knew what we were in for.

For Greek food I expect a lamb dish, and, perhaps, moussaka, but this was not the case. Frankly, my perception was that there was no consideration to a set degustation menu and we were presented with a concoction of food that was based on what was left over (given what would perish quickly). I say this, because another table was on the 7 course degustation as well, and they had different food to us. Very disappointing, particularly when you walk out hungry. And unfortunately, I shan't be going back.

Positives were the 'hot pot' prawns and pita bread and tzatziki dip. Disasters were the 2 octopus dishes (I&J style) and the olives as a dish.

It's not my preference to bag a restaurant as it is a very difficult industry, but I do hope that management can take a good look at themselves and, perhaps, even go and eat at other Greek restaurants in Sydney. My wife went crook on me for leaving a tip and she is generally generous. I couldn't recommend this for people to go to based on our experience. I'm probably being generous with the ratings.

Chose it from the entertainment book. Did not have our booking when we arrived. Service was slow and very ordinary. Had an issue with the bill. Senior staff came out of the kitchen to tell me, in a rude manner, that they were busy and did not have time for this etc. Spoilt it in the first 1 minute and last 1 minute. Will not be back.

We visited with a voucher for a banquet. I feel sorry for Zorbas because they wasted a good opportunity to promote the restaurant. Simply the meal was a shocker served indifferently. The 7 courses consisted of dip and bread, olives, beef "pattie" on lettuce, spinach pie on lettuce, calamari on lettuce, garlic sauce hiding 4 prawns, and squid on lettuce. All to be eaten on the same small plate which was never changed. Couldn't wait to leave after racing thru the meal.

My friend had bought 2 vouchers for this place and we 4 decided to go here for a nice meal. We had booked the place for dinner with the voucher details. The waitress refused to give us menu's as according her we had vouchers so there were only set dishes available. We still requested that we would like to have a read as it was our first time here and what if we would like to order something more. She reluctantly gave us the menu and took our order and somehow we felt because we had vouchers it was not the done thingie.

We got an entree which was more like a seafood platter with some cheese. For Mains we had to choose from 3 dishes and we were 4 of us so not much choice. My friend requested to have more salad instead of chips for her dish. The dish still came with chips with some salad added. And the place had just one more table occupied by a couple so it was not that they were very busy.

We then ordered dessert as we had that included in the voucher again we could either have baklava or walnut cake so we ordered 2 of each. With just one bite I wanted to throw up, it was not at all fresh and very very heavy. We also had tea/coffee included but the waitress did not even mention it so we asked for it and she was like if you want I will make it for you.

Our whole existence was like they were doing a favour on us. On our way out we wanted to see the manager. He did come out and supposedly was also the senior staff of the place. We wanted to give him the feedback and so he immediately started to tell us that it is his restaurant and he will run it the way he wants... Hahahah that was the icing on the cake. We also told him that he needs to fumigate the place as it had cockroaches and he said they are everywhere its natural.

I have nothing more to say after this I am sure you know what I mean. Please do not ever go there its a disaster. Oh yes and the voucher included dancing which did not ever take place that day and they did not bother to mention to us at the time of our booking. Feel completely cheated.

Bad, Bad, Service. 4 of us were looking forward to trying this restaurant, nice setting and ambience. After phoning ahead to confirm, tried using an $80 voucher we'd bought for Dancing Zorbas. They refused to give 2 of us menus as 'we wouldn't be needing them, the vouchers are for a set meal which they determine on the night.

Entree had to be a calamari, octopus and cheese triangle platter and the fact that we couldn't eat seafood was bad luck, refused to offer a salad or other alternative. Ended up not ordering and leaving. When we told them that's what we'd have to do, they asked if they could keep the voucher. In hindsight, not surprised only 2 tables had customers at 7 pm on a saturday night.

This was one of thw worst restaurants I have visited lately. The waitress not only did not check that she had taken everyone in the party's order before running off, she got my beer order wrong. There was a very long wait beftween ordering drinks and the menu's arriving. My menu had pages missing, which did not impress. Even worse, one of the ordered dishes never arrived. The food was nothing special. A place to avoid.

Good Family Friendly Restaurant. We had the steak which was really good. Prices represent value for money. Service is friendly and atmosphere relaxed. This place is worth a try it maybe getting a bad wrap from groups where they possibly may struggle.

I have been to this restaurant several times. I have always had a delicious meal. The service is outstanding and the menu offers a wide choice plus a specials board.
