Have only had take away, the bang xeo pancake is excellent, even delivered! The salt and pepper squid is also really good! The service is delightful, we also really like 'red cook'. On the whole the Vietnamese dishes are much better than tha Thai but all highly recommended,

I had lunch at Dalat today. Vermicelli noodles with Grilled Pork and Spring Rolls. I liked they had lots of veg in the dish but the pork could have been crispier. It would be pretty hard to fail at this dish and it was fine but not as good as the one I had in Marrickville this week (which was cheaper). I'd go back.

They do this fantastic beef soup, its basically Pho broth but with slow cooked hunks of beef like you would find in a massaman curry and really nice chunks of pumpkin too.

We enjoyed eating at this friendly Vietnam restaurant. Whilst the atmosphere heavily relies on the plasma screen with kitch Vietnamese talent show reels, the food and the serving staff make up for any shortfall in that dept. Thank heavens.

The menu is fairly extensive. We left feeling full from ordering the salt and pepper stir fried tofu, the chicken with sour sauce #51, the diced beef #52 and the steamed veggies. We ordered a veggie pad siew to go at the time we were to leave, which was delivered as requested. Service delightful. Price $70 include tip for 4 dishes.

Dalat delivers consistently excellent food and service. I take people here a lot because they inevitably walk out raving about it. The Vietnamese pancake is a must-have. One of Randwick's little jewels!

Been here one afternoon for the lunch special. The food had fresh mint flavours. It was quite busy as there were many office groups as it is in a commercial location. The service was good inspite of the busy place. Would probably visit this place if around in the area during lunch hours.
